It would be popular if Sega actually bothered to release an updated version. They also don't really support its competitive scene as well as they used to. I love the series, and I'd love to see a Virtua Fighter 6, but Sega are focused on other things right now, and since then the game just lost its spark, especially when Yu Suzuki left. Also, to the people calling it a Tekken/Dead or Alive rip-off, do your research, seriously.

"Now it's been 20 uears I can admit it blablabla.." Jacky and La are Just Bruce Lee clones. But one is deeper with better animations.
