It was utterly amazing! There will be a Vlog coming up on the channel from Portaventura VERY soon. It was a pleasure to have Zoe and Josh back in the videos. They are both amazing and I've missed them so much!
Thank you! I would HIGHLY recommend it! The whole trip (including Taxi Travel) cost us in the end around £210. If you don't mind booking and planning, it's WELL WORTH IT!
Thank you! Glad this helped you! Taxi from the Airport to Salou will cost you €30 (so be prepared to pay in physical cash for that). There are public transport options, however, the Taxi is easier (just keep in mind there are cheaper public transport options out there if money is an issue). Plus, your accommodation will charge you tourism tax which is around €1.10 per person per night, they will ask for this physically if it's private accommodation your staying in. There are ALOT of places to eat in Salou, I recommend walking down the beachfront as there are some amazing Bars to eat at! If you're traveling to PortAventura from Salou, don't bother getting a Taxi, just walk it! It's only a 10 minute walk away from the center of Salou. If there is anything else I can help you with please let me know. Salou is an amazing place, however, and if you're going to PortAventura you'll have an amazing time!
Certainly! If you're taking a Taxi from the Airport, always speak to the man with the clipbord organising Taxi's. He can give you a set price for a Taxi. When you're coming back from Salou, prebook your Taxi in advance so you don't get to the Airport late. Security was alittle rammed when we went. I'd look at Airbnb for accommodation. We got a VERY good rate that we wouldn't have got if we stayed in a traditional hotel. Explore Salou! Its a very nice area of Spain with alot of good Bars.
Passport control was VERY easy. There was only alittle queue as several Planes landed all at once. However, we did need to show our COVID Letter at the COVID stop point. At the time of our Flight, we needed to present our COVID Letter that can be obtained here: www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/nhs-covid-pass/get-an-nhs-covid-pass/get-your-nhs-covid-pass-letter/ But please check what the COVID restrictions look like when you fly!
Salou has alot of Bars and shops. When we went midweek, there was always an atmosphere at Night. I'd recomend walking down the promenade, there are alot of Sea facing Bars and Shops there that looked really good. Sadly, we didn't explore many of them!
