I think it was already confirmed by Thomas once that Hawk Moth doesn't see the people, but feels their emotions.
And about your theory of the personalities, I don't think it works that way. I mean, just look at what they were like in the origins. I think it's like with you and your friends irl, like, you influence each other by spending time together. And I think that's similar to how the Kwamis influence their holders and vice versa. I mean, they are together 24/7 after all.

It's so nice to come home from a looong day of university and just fall on my bed and watch your reactions.. I'm so glad you release your videos on Mondays😊 its just so sad to realize that Adrien basically lives his nightmare every single day😞🌼
Poor Adrien. His dad is basically abusive in a way and it makes me so sad. I'm so happy that I can make your Mondays happy and that it's a nice tradition for people! It helps me too because Mondays can be hard :( I like to start the week off on a positive note!!

It's not entirely out of the question that transforming partially merges their personalities with their kwamis, but given that their crushes are still the same whether they're transformed or not (Adrien is still smitten for Ladybug even when he's not Chat), I don't think it influences their romantic feelings, or at least not significantly. So don't worry, his love is still real! ^^
As for the different fears, the akuma gives nightmares, not necessarily manifestations of #1 top fears. The same person can have several different nightmares, and given the situations they were in it makes sense for them to have different nightmares. Marinette was dreaming of her future with Adrien when the akuma attacked, so that was turned into a nightmare by Adrien confessing his love for Chloe. Adrien was stuck in his room, to where he's often confined, so that became a nightmare by restricting him further and further, forever. Ladybug was fighting an akuma and trying to protect her Miraculous from Hawkmoth, so that became a nightmare when she became powerless against him. Chat Noir was protecting Ladybug, who he cares more about than anyone else, so that became a nightmare with Ladybug rejecting and turning against him. So it's more a matter of being under different circumstances and what would be the worst thing * in the moment * than being totally different people when transformed. :)

This was an awesome casual cosplay! The only thing I might have done was put the butterfly pin under the scarf for a cool reveal at the beginning, but what you did was super awesome! It is kinda funny, but one of the things I appreciate about Gabriel is that he goes an extra mile to protect his Miraculous and identity. Our heroes go around hoping that the disguised form of their Miraculous (Ring being white, earrings being black) is enough to throw people (which also almost got Adrien caught by him in Gorizilla, funnily enough.) Gabriel actually physically keeps his hidden under a scarf so that nobody will know he even has an accessory like that on. This is probably necessary to an extent, considering that it glows when someone is ripe for akumatization (But, seeing as Paris is blind and nobody aside from Adrien, Nathalie, and the Gorilla ever see him usually it wouldn't be a big deal probably). In addition to hiding the glow that it gives off, it also is a decent second layer of defense if someone were to figure it out and try and rip it off him in civilian form, since the scarf would more likely come off in their hand without ripping off the brooch, since the scarf appears to be relatively loose and it would be hard for someone to get a good grip on the brooch underneath. The random things you notice while watching shows, huh?

Hawk Moth's brooch lights up when someone feels strong emotions (that is how he knows when to akumatize a person when he is a civilian).
Also, each kwami matches an animal from the chinese zodiac (soo cute).

Whao, you managed to kill my ears a second time, I'm impressed...and in pain...TT...;} About kwamis, something was tweeted by the creator : you are right, there is 19 of them in the box, 12 are from the chinese zodiac and are indeed chinese, the others are from different origins, not known but based on heraldry and symbolism probably french (at least the bee one, one of the kings of France symbols), BUT there are other kwamis all over the world from other countries... It means there is a lot of kwamis and potentially heroes we don't know about.

I love Marinette's nightmare it is hilarious
A common theory that started to rise from this episode is how the civilian and hero personas are considered two completely separate entities, not a single person, one from how the influence of the Kwami personality effects the hero when being used, another is how before transforming, they had their own nightmares but got a completely new nightmare after they transformed, implying that the hero and civilians forms are considered different people, it was an interesting theory I heard when the episode originally came out

20:20 I have my own theory about how the Hawkmoth pin can actually be used for good. In the past, maybe it was used to sense when someone is in distress or scared of an attack - supernatural or not - and this was what allowed the heroes of old to act quickly. And when used properly, it can be used as a support power as the Hawkmoth pin holder can choose a champion and maybe be used in a more strategic plan... I hope that makes sense. I just want Nooru to be freed, the poor kwamii suffers enough by Gabriel.
And agreed that the nightmares they both have to face is really telling of their priorities depending on their identities. Definitely not in a bad way, but one that really explains a lot about their personalities. For Marinette, she is an average teenager, she has priorities to think about her crush and has no real struggles outside of that, but at Ladybug, she fears that one day, she will not have what it takes to be the hero Paris sees her as and leaves her vulnerable and defenseless. For Adrien, the boy faces an neglectful father and fears that he will never be truly free and left all alone; while as Chat, he is more confident in his freedom and wants win the approval of the one girl in his eyes that accepts him and allows him freedom. So yeah, I can go on as well but this episode was just *air kiss* perfect. So much to dissect and so little time. But just you wait, it is going to get juicier as the Finale comes closer! 😁🤐

This episode was amazing and I was about to cry bcause of Adrien being locked and we all know how much he dislikes it but I didn't so I guess the 1 time I cried in Miraculous was in Frozer because of the music XD I know it sounds silly but it was the music from the upcoming musical and I know the lyrics to that song and I cried so hard cause its so emotional!!!Lol if you think it wouldn't be a big spoiler I could give u the lyrics since they are just 2 phrases
According to the show’s creator the kwamis are meant to be the show’s version of gods but I have one problem with that
THEY ACT LIKE FREAKING CHILDREN
I think I can debunk your fan theory. First, both Adrien and Marinette almost consistently begin acting like their alter egos before they transform, right after witnessing trouble (think of Adrien and Plagg’s banter). Second, the personality combination can’t be seen with any of the other kwami and holder relationships (Hawkmoth acts nothing like Nooroo). Lastly, both the main characters have had some pretty dramatic mood swings as both their selves. The theory is interesting to consider, but I agree with you that we’re better off without it.
