Through The Window - Original Song By Greg Thompson

Music is therapy of sorts, and I wrote the first couple of lines for this song when my beautiful horse Drifter died. I put it away for a long time and eventually finished it with a different feel, touching on the theme of emerging from sadness. Even when the county gives the mandatory evacuation due to a fire, eventually the sun comes up and against all odds we all give this life another try. All the sounds are created by acoustic guitar, bass, and drums, albeit with various gizmos to derange the sounds. Almost all the images were captured at my small Colorado ranch, complete with horses and dogs who remind us that new life is around the corner.
