That was a great demonstration and playing. I ran mine stereo into a stereo PA. It sounded and felt just like my old Marshall but not harsh above the 12 fret! I always wanted a Super Bass. It sounds like Malcolm Young. The ghost notes when I am wailing through it are just like a hard working Marshall. I agree it’s unprecedented.
@@WeekendWarriorGuitars Depends on the video, Lion sometimes but now I'm mostly using UA plugins (Marshall JMP2203) neural DSP plugins (Matteus asato, Morgan amps suite) and for our upcoming Derek Trucks course I mic'd my Two Rock up, so an assortment of tones!
Guitar into pedalboard (with UAFX Lion at the end) stereo out from the Lion into a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 into a MacBook and playing/recording in GarageBand.
Have you watched the Rhett Shull video I mention towards the end? They shot out the UAFX amp pedals against the actual amps in a pro recording studio. It’s very hard to tell the difference in the control room. This was with pro musicians. A lot of people think the Lion sounds fantastic. If you don’t, that’s OK.
Nice video, very informative! These uafx amp pedals sound great
Ya, you really can't go wrong with these. Good to have one on hand, even if you prefer your amp. Makes recording at home effortless!

Awesome man, thanks for the comment and keep rocking!
Nice man, sounds great great video!
Thank you, sir! BTW, on your slide lesson vids, are you using the Lion, or something else?

but, does it have G12 -t75 celestion IR?
UA products don’t use IRs, they have their own speaker emulation technology. You can easily check all the speaker cab emulations for the Lion online.
hmmm sounds kinda lifeless like alll modelling does. Sounds like my Behringer GDI-21 I got like 10 years ago.

Way tooooo much talk! Think most of us wan’t to know how the pedal sounds. We DO get to hear it, but way too late….
That's what the time stamps are for. You can skip to any part you want! 😁
It sounds very nice
Thank you!
