  • Daymond John, founder of FUBU and host of “Shark Tank,” joins Robert and Kim for a raw look at entrepreneurship. Find out why being broke is the best tool any entrepreneur can have. Hear how John built a global brand from the kitchen of his mother’s house in New York. John also reveals the differences between a winning and losing pitch on “Shark Tank.”

Yes, me to. Keep the lights on until you can move on. I remember speaking with a guy that quit his 9/5 and went all in. He had no money saved and 6 months later the pandemic happened. You never know what could happen. Be strategic and develop that financial IQ and you’ll know when to start “Minding Your Own Business” on a full time basis how Rich Dad taught us.

The comment on the politicians at the end , is something I wish people would understand and quit supporting "politicians" of any stripe. It's time for the individual once again and quit transferring YOUR power to someone that can't even run their own life. Don't give in to the immorality of transferring your personal morality to the corrupt politicians. Thanks Robert!

I hope I can still make it though, I have been also listening to your podcasts, watching your videos on youtube and reading your book "Rich Dad's Increase your Financial IQ", the book help me realize a bunch of things that I should change in my life if I wanna succeed, I have an invested on real estate here in the Philippines before I have read your book and allotting 1 hour a day to read helps in widening up my knowledge, I hope I can pick your brain sometime.

So many good products and businesses fail do to people. We had a local business that filled a niche all over our metro area until the boss spent it all. How many really good businesses and products are dead because of bad management?

    Mr. Kiyosaki.
You keep drawing the same old and worn-out 4 quadrants in your video lessons. After watching it numerous times, one feels like "here we go again". No offence.
Although I understand that the 4 quadrants is the foundation of your teachings but I am sure your videos can use some variety so people don't get fed up.
May I suggest that you arrange interviews to draw out your experiences and advise for success?
Only a couple of weeks ago, I watched you candidly talking to someone and I finally learned what your life story is all about. I was deeply impressed and began seeing you in a completely different light. I have become a fan of yours all over again.

When you get sick and tired of hearing something.....you are just starting to get it. Robert and Kim , keep talking about the 4 quadrant until thy kingdom come. until people like Ashfaq get it and start living it. Robert you are doing and saying more than better.keep it up, i never stop learning.

Thank you so much Robert and Kim. Your fan all the way from Africa. Yep, Nigeria, Africa.
Somehow i found your video by accident and I've been hooked ever since. I bought 6 of your books, which actually takes money from my pocket and into your pocket..dang it!!LOL.. But hey, It's an Asset/liability type of situation because my cash flow income from my business paid for the books and besides the amount of knowledge that you shared in your books is priceless. Thanks once again.
IN ADDITION: I couldn't agree more on laziness that comes with having a lot of $$$ sitting around, it's insane. When i have a lot of cash laying around, i just want to party and buy bunch of sh*t i don't necessarily need and that's scary to me. So i re-invest my excess cash from my business into residential properties that i take rents from.

Kiyosaki is so legit. I've been trying to earn a living being a freelance copywriter for the last year or so. I've only made $2500 knowing almost nothing lol. These people are right when they say that the best times for an entrepreneur is when you have NOTHING. Cuz that's when you learn the most. I have learned about what exactly the things I can do when I write in the last year than I have in nearly 15 years floundering as a retail clerk, a bouncer, a server, and as a college student.
I don't agree with John about not burning the bridges. If you don't have much to lose, if you are lucky enough to go back to your folks or people who can take care of you for a bit, then burn TF out of the bridges. And go ALL FUCKING IN if you can. Otherwise you run the risk of half assing things, as Kiyosaki says at 28:55..."most people have the character, its just easier to get a job and say you can't do it."

Myself and a friend went to Carl's Jr. after listening. (I eat there at least twice a week). Save your money! $6 a burger for the Baby Back, it was awful! each burger had two dried out pieces of beef. Total size of the two ribs on each burger... about 1" wide x 1 1/2" long. o.k.in Other words, just a tad bigger than a 50¢ coin!!! I took several pictures but no way to upload into this comment. So, buy just about anything else from Carl's but this and the hot dogs! I'm looking out for your money! Take care!
