holy fuck this is scary
my brother has this but its due to his life style as he has been over weight for years (20+) and on a lot of drugs for health issues
looking back i understand i have not been lucky in not getting it myself but i have with out knowing been systematically protecting myself ageist it. Cutting out flour, sugar, meat, processed food, and eating 12 cups rag vegetables per day along with exercise. There is a real feeling of helplessness and despair as the damage cannot be undone. But he does refuse to eat healthy food, i can only do so much as in lead a horse to water but cannot make it drink :(
meat is bad for diabetics too ?
@@yrysf777 yes its very bad, it does not matter what type of animal protein either chicken, beef, pork, fish it will have an effect of spiking the blood sugar amount + half and the blood sugar stays higher longer.
@@unguidedone thanks you for your quick response. I am very sad becuz recently I have diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy. Since then I have eliminated all grains , sugar , fruits . I take carb only from non-starchy vegetables. But I never knew meat also spike blood sugar . daamn how much can I eliminate more ... oh I gotta talk to my doctor soon about my diet .
