  • This video explains in depth the process of repairing and installing a high-performance rubber stone and urethane coating on this 6,000 sq ft basketball court on the remote island of Anegada in the British Virgin Islands. Installed over a 14 day period we were able to finish the resurfacing, demarcation lines as well as restore the basketball backboards, rims, and posts. For more information and details about our mix design for this rock and rubber coating material, feel free to comment below or send us an email at info@concretebvi.com and we would be happy to assist in any way.

    Really enjoyed seeing the process. Love the drone shot at the end… and that clip of that guy shooting and hitting the side of the backboard. 🤣

    Would you come to Bolivia?. we are trying to repair our court but nobody wants to help us. A lot of poor people but a lot of talent in basketball.

    Is it cheaper to use rubber in compared to concrete and which last longer in your opinion?
    The court looks amazing!!! I cane across a vid and now im super intrigued with concrete and rubber 😂😂

    • @ConcreteBVI
      @ConcreteBVI  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The rubber needs concrete below it to last its intended life span. New Concrete alone will last longer but this is a solution for older concrete typically. The colours and the softness and flexibility of the rubber is a good solution for resurfacing because it can move and flex without cracking, comes in a variety of colours and is fully customizable. To be honest though new concrete and new straight EPDM rubber are about the same price installed. But you can’t put the rubber over dirt …

      Thanks for explaining that!
      Definitely gonna check out the other videos, I love how you describe your steps in the video super entertaining and educational! I'm subbed!
      Do they have classes to get certified in this or just learn it and do it?

    • @ConcreteBVI
      @ConcreteBVI  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@marinchihwai7248 they don’t offer classes but they can send a certified installer to train you on site (which could be us) or someone else closer to your location. Or you can come here to the British Virgin Islands and we can train you on site.

    How much did this cost?

    • @ConcreteBVI
      @ConcreteBVI  ปีที่แล้ว

      There were a few extra costs due to it being on a remote island and shipping costs and accommodations were all included but if I remember correctly it was somewhere around $13/ft
