  • This donkey has long overgrown hooves. He gets a new life with his new shoes. It only takes 5 minutes per hoof for a good farrier to change this poor donkey's life!

    You need to use an electric grinder!
    The job is not well done and not yet finished!

    Neither the person who recorded the video or the person who did the trimming know what they are doing

    Did the vet say how long for the recovery of this donkey? Did they set a another appointment for you to trim again to keep improving its quality of life? Glad you had a vet there too!! No criticism just curious and saw a video of a pony that took a few months for it to be back to normal after regular trims with the people who rescued it. Love your work btw hope you have a great weekend.

      The donkeys are going to change places. They will be checked more regularly. The vet was there for a sedation. You can touch them just fine but you really can't trim their feet. Well, think you can imagine that. Maybe I can do a check up video. Enjoy your weekend as well!

      @@Jorgenfrombelgium I find a lot of donkeys seem to be like that. They are used to people but not being handled and they kick like cannons. ❤️

    Be REALLY nice if you could arrange for better video on the next trim. I hope you will do so.

      Thanks for watching! Yes, I just got a iPhone 12 for better results. The other camera was old.

    Good job on the donkey hoof. However, next time make sure the video is well shot. Alot if the times it was focused on
    Away from the actual shots

    How do wild horses and donkeys not get this?

    • @timwicke2836
      @timwicke2836 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Wild horses keep moving on dirt and stone. That usually keeps their feet trimmed down very well.

    You took a lot off at once. Isn't it better to do it in stages over weeks?

    • @Jorgenfrombelgium
      @Jorgenfrombelgium  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depending on the horse and the client. For the donkeys, as you can imagine... That is a one time opportunity, so I don't waste it.

    Without a picture in the end of that poor beast standing propper on his legs a gain it is quite a pain to watch...

      @@marieelle6637 thank you for your input and watching. The fact that you react or watches is because you love animals and donkeys. Very often farriers like me do their job and we only hear of the animal the next time we need to go... and very often there overgrown again. But not always. Sometimes the animals get lucky. good luck to you too.
