that wasn't what happened. Ocon was one lap down, but faster on fresher tires and was trying to unlap himself. Anyone with half a brain would have let him through, but Verstappen decided to fight it and that cost him the win to Lewis. As Lewis said to Max in the press conference: "you had everything to lose and he had nothing to lose"
