    I have anti phospholipid syndrome and I had Johnson & Johnson vaccine almost a month ago. It did cause me to have more inflammation but so far no clots, thank Goodness!

    • @DeeJustMe
      @DeeJustMe 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @Anna Martin yes, as I have not had any clotting events yet that would require Coumadin. So i take a full strength aspirin daily. With APS you have inflammation already, the vaccine just triggered me to have a bit more. So far though I’m glad I received the injection. I’d much rather have it than Covid.

After all, she in her late 60s, these things happen, right? I think not. She was perfectly fine, until a little while after her shot.

      I’m not surprised to see J&J being extremely cautious isn’t being fully understood as such by so many. There’s so much blather and emotional based conspiracies or misinformation especially for those who frequent certain social media circles and TH-cam platforms. It’s frustrating to realize how effective the misinformation is compared to reality based on actual legit raw sources that generally do have answers to most people’s concerns.
      The odds of 1 in a million potential concerns with the blood clot thing aren’t even necessarily known to be related yet. I understand that during their placebo trial the same thing happened to one person that didn’t even get the vaccine.
      And I had to look up the odds of lightning strikes.
      “Lightning kills an average of 49 people each year in the United States and hundreds more are injured. Some survivors suffer lifelong neurological damage. Here's more information on the victims and the survivors.”

      @@myrtleesther8855 Doctors are held to the highest ethical standards and take their jobs not only seriously but of you think about it, they live for making a person better- not worse. Another perspective is maybe something we can relate to an airplane mechanic. To think they’d test something out on a repair just for kicks or to potentially see their work cause an accident or even for the plane to come back for a do-over- that’s not a thing that just happens.
      These vaccines are not experimental. We can trust experts on this type of thing because that’s exactly what they are; experts.

    • @audimaster5000
      @audimaster5000 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Krv ssv The J&J trial for the vaccine had also reported a similar blood clot issue with someone who received no vaccine. The placebo group. So that’s an interesting side note that doesn’t necessarily mean much other than to not jump to conclusions. Ya know how it is

    • @ckpatt9886
      @ckpatt9886 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      But, one may be hit by lightning if he is going out in a stormy weather. One who takes the vaccine has some chance, as minimal as it, to develop a blood clot. Two scenarios aren't comparable. One is unknowingly and the other is knowingly.

    • @audimaster5000
      @audimaster5000 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@ckpatt9886 Ahah. Then maybe weigh it against the potential risk of developing permanent scar tissue buildup if one becomes infected with SARS-Cov2 vs. any of the vaccines available. Skip the J&J if that’s what ya gotta do.

    On the day when I'm about to receive the J&J vaccine (April 9), I saw the news regarding J&J causing a blood clot and the vaccination site was shut down in Colorado. Despite this knowledge without any hesitation, I went ahead and get the J&J vaccine anyway. Other than experiencing fever 8 hours after the shot, I don't have any problem with it and I'm definitely not worried about blood clot at all.

    1:40 Aren’t viral vector vaccines relatively new? I read that before this only Ebola vaccine was viral vector based and it wasn’t widely administered in a large population.

    Read the Bloomberg piece. Of course cases are low, the drive to vaccinate in the US didn’t focus on the 18-48. Now that this age group is being administered, cases are expected to rise according to the article.

    Thank you for making it ease to understand that there is no linkage identified with the vaccine. It could be other causes. I took the JJ Janssen vaccine two weeks ago with hardly any side effects other than a sore arm. 🙏

    Covishield in India is similar to J&J as both use adrenovirus. Then why is Covishield two dose while J&J is single dose ?
