SO MUCH POG FOR ALL THIS NEW CONTENT While looking at some of the prerelease stills, I was a bit worried that the background textures looking a bit flatter was going to detract and make the game feel cheaper, but it really doesn't because the detail in the moving elements more than makes up for it.
I've been thinking of going back and rewatching the first Rebirth episodes. It's great watching you beginning a whole new sequel to a game you adore. It's like a trembling excitement. I can already tell Spelunky 2 is going to be no different, seeing you navigate the new mysteries and slowly conquer the game all over again! Plus, Spelunky 2 and the upcoming birth of your first child! The levels of raw, pure pog are explosive right now!
FULLY POGGED FOR THIS. One of my most anticipated games of this year. Let's go. 25:16 That background though Edit: MONTY IS OFFICIAL WOW. This brought my hype to whole new levels, SO MUCH AMAZING STUFF IN JUST ONE LEVEL and now, to resist watching more until month's end.
Turkeys are so good that taming and holding onto them as a mount for as long as possible will probably be important for running this game in any format. It was so funny how NL killed every one he saw in his first run but at least he got to experience a mount for a moment near the end.
The last 5 minutes of this episode was peak entertainment. Enjoy your time with the baby, you only have your first baby once. I hope I can speak for everyone when I say don't worry about your upload schedule. I've got a bit of a backlog of content to fall back on. SPELUNKY 2 IS COMING?! Holy crap, I remember hearing references to it back in 2018-2019 NLSS's. But dang dude, HERE IT IS!!! 9:55 Yo uh, *LIIIITTLE suggestion if the dev is reading the comments!* Maybe have multiple monsters per page? Like 4 monsters on 1 page and then the player can select the monster to increase the image size. I saw 60 pages and I immediately felt, "Aaaagh... 60 pages...?" With 4 monsters per page, this gets reduced to a much nicer 15 pages of the bestiary. As the video went on, you said all the right things NL. Visually, this looks much sleeker. But then you said the magic words, "controls tighter." I am definitely purchasing this game. Tight gameplay, great graphics, a cute story, fun premise, I'm all in. I might even buy this game at full price~.
