holy mackerel! these surfers are not getting the recognition they deserve. don't think they care though. such thick lipped cold massive waves. no beach with adoring fans, just sheer cliffs, and their friends looking out for each other.
1040 and 1120 were great shots. In fact the whole film is eye candy. So much respect going out to the pioneers of Shipsterns for discovering what I consider to be the most beautiful and amazing surfing footage that exists. Every wave is unique and heavy in the scariest way. Thanks for the personal intro too. I enjoyed the music

Yeah that one caught my eye too, leaning the all way back onto the wave he's able to get his surfboard back under him (granted, it has bindings) which then puts him in the perfect part of the wave to get right in the middle of the little barrel, then handles a huge stepdown drop like a champ. Luck and talent for sure
@@simonkelly8499 I surfed for many years and was good enough to have kids come up and ask if I was going to be in upcoming surf events. Waves that big no, but at least talented enough to stand up.😉
