I had the block heater added after I purchased it. It was on the right side I believe....hanging down below the starter. Again, I can't recall exactly. I don't have this tractor currently. The block heater worked well. At first, I stored the tractor outdoors under my carport. On really cold nights, I'd plug in and it made it startup much easier. The block heater isn't on every tractor....
Any upgrades you'd recommend? LED lights etc? Got an option on TN75D £14k Cab etc ...It would compliment my T4.75 nicely, if it is a good runner - I'll sell the 75 and buy a dedicated Telehandler that can also tow - and avoid running a Loader on my tractors just seems to knack the utility ones quickly.

And water leaking into oil from the exchange. Got mine new holland binghamton. Oh, I pulled head off to see about water in oil etc. They were unable to find the copper fuel injector sleeves for it. I reused. Valves were hammered as were the seats. They want ef$1400 for new head. No valve seat replacement unless u machine your own
Just ran across your review, and have the same unit. Any chance you would know/remember the brand of the bucket? I've been looking for a bolt-on cutting blade to put on our bucket and have not been able to find anyone that makes a blade with the same hole pattern/spacing.
I have a 2001 model TN65 4x4 bought new, woods 1020 loader. Ive always thought it felt weak compared to other tractors in the same hp range and have been told i messed up getting the TN65 vs TN75 or higher. Im planning on trading it in if the local NH dealer gets a used higher model TN in. At this point in time, do you think the difference between the 65 and 75 are worth going through a trade? My tractor is very well maintained, kept inside and theres nothing wrong with it other than it cant pull my bush hog at pto rpm in 3rd low for long, it eventually bogs it to the point i have to gear down or it dies out. I have a lot of mowing to do on flat open ground so i like to move faster than power walking speed lol. Id rather have more hp than too little and my bush hog is a 10ft agricutter, drawbar type. The neighbor used to have this huge NH tractor w/cummins and he could mow 3x as fast as me with a batwing size deck if he wanted🙁. Id go for a TN95 but id rather not pay too much boot for a 20yo tractor that i dont know the history on, so i was thinking the TN75 may be ok since its a turbo. I dont want a newer tractor, too much cost wise for what little i use it for (95% mowing) and i want nothing to do with later emissions. Ty for the video, this is very similar to my TN65 except mine is only 8 speed, and i dont think the button on the left side of the dash does anything on mine, it feels like a rubber plug tbh lol.
Thanks for watching. I enjoyed my TN75 and I do think it has a superior torque curve to the 65. I pulled a 7' brush hog - HD model 297. I now have a T4.95 and pull a 10' rotary cutter and it is superior to the TN75. IT boils down to money and your value of time. If I was making the jump I'd go for as much HP as possible within your price range.
@@ModernCountryLiving ty for the reply, ill probably go for a TN95 then if one ever pops up, itll cost more but hopefuly it will satisfy the power and speed I am lookin for. The TN65 feels like such a dog at times, it will start to bog down just when you need it to hold rpms, esp going up hills.

I am not sure I understand what you mean? If you are talking about the skid steer plate that attaches to the loader, it's a standard skid steer quick attach design. I have purchased them on EBAY and such for various projects (made a set of forks and also a couple for snow plow mounts). You can check out some of the videos on my T4.95 that show those as well. You have your button on the side of the tractor backwards! Actually it's the other way around. I own one...push in goes down and click the button it goes up
Tractor was great. I think I had 600-700 hrs on it. The loader control was a little looser than I preferred. The motor and everything ran great. I liked the shuttle shift from F-R.
I have 60 wooded acres in ID., some of which I need to clear to put in a house etc. I've looked at TYM T450, Kub M4900, L4150, etc. but I keep coming back to the TN75. Does this drink fuel? Is it hard to maneuver in the woods? Do normal implements fit it? Thanks
+Mogman150 I used my TN75 in the woods and found it to be acceptable. It's a bit bigger frame than the smaller classes, but I could make the turns and such. The larger tires and ground clearance helped in muddy situations that would have stuck smaller tractors easily and for going over uneven terrain. When I purchased this size, it was popular for use in the woods by loggers who liked the power to weight to size ratio. Normal implements fit. It has great lift capacity and was at the top in its class of tractors for 3pt lift and loader capacities. As far as fuel, there are some sites on the internet which have testing data on fuel consumption. I never had a problem with how much it used. I am glad I got the turbocharged TN75 vs the TN60. The torque rise was nice in tough situations. tractortestlab.unl.edu/testreports is a site that rates tractors and performance. I hope all of this helps. I did test drive JD, Kubota and others in this class when I purchased and in 2004, this tractor took the cake IMO. I liked the curved hood and loader which provided excellent visibility. I also liked the lift o matic which is a rapid rise/lower system on the 3 pt mechanism.
I bought a TN75A based on your review and after looking extensively at the competition (2 years ago). I bought mine used and have been very happy with it. It came with a lot of the 'extras" such as 3 rear remotes, QA loader, telescoping 3 pt links, etc. I also bought a brush hog, box blade, pallet forks and grapple. The cab would be nice at times, but I think I would destroy it. Thanks again.
+Mogman150 I do not. I originally looked at the TC55 size with a HST. After using my Dad's 40 hp Kubota with HST, I opted for the TN W/O HST. THe HST saps power in my opinion. I found it particularly noticeable when brush hogging in thick stuff going up a grade. For the TN, it has a synchronized transmission with (in my situation) a mechanical shuttle. Simply clutch and pull the shuttle lever back. They also sold a power shuttle, which eliminates the clutching required. I currently have a T4.95 and it's a power shuttle. I find myself still clutching 50% of the time.
+Shawn Gross The early TN75s had issues with the computers controlling the power shuttle. I think it scared a lot of people away from the supersteer/power shuttle. I'm sure they fixed the issues, but since I'm buying used, I'm looking at the TN75A versions with the mech. shuttle. My other tractor in question is a TYM T450 (nice tractor for it's size, but way smaller). Thoughts?
I think the mechanical shuttle is a great combination for this tractor. I didn't have any problems. I purchased mine new in 2004 and recently traded it with ~700 hrs (most of that loader work) with no problems.
My tn75 has been a major disappointment. Bent valve push rods stuck valves at 150 hours. Bucket centering mismanufactured. Hydraulics were not set right. Left front 4wd problem. Fwd Rev is a nightmare. Backhoe valves beat tractor to pieces if not careful. Wish I bought a deer. Told NH to take it back at 150hrs. Use it as demo of a bad product. They said no.
sorry you experienced this. Have you ever gone on to the forums for Deere or NH or Case or Kubota? Good stories and horror stories. My TN was a good tractor, and my 2014 T4.95 has been great.

Mine came weth a fiberglass sunshade mounted to the rollbar. It keeps you cool while out mowing, and dry if a shower passes by..

It was from NewHolland. I actually had looked at the cutting edge through the dealer. It was ~$400 or so back then. I opted not to pursue it.
