JB gave Curb new life when he came on to the show. He made me laugh with every line that he ever had. You can tell Larry enjoyed working with him as much as we enjoyed watching them together.
@@NewFalconerRecords He didn't save it (As it was a fantastic show already), but he did possibly make it even more hilarious than it already was. Season 6 is my favorite of the series, just one masterpiece after another.
Absolutely died of laughter when Leon talked about Kramer in yesterday's finale. Leon binge-watching Seinfeld really brought things full circle. Gonna miss this show.
@@sujalgautam9761 i read this collect 5 hours ago and just finished the episode 20 minutes ago. Nothing was ruined for me. The Kramer comment was not a spoiler.
What I also liked is that Larry ended the show exactly the same as they did on Seinfeld, I.e a court where they bring back all the characters who have shaped the show along the main cast.
The Leon character is so perfect as a foil for Larry. He's so different but has the same DFAF attitude toward things that they egg each other on. But then Leon says so many wild-eyed things that it almost makes Larry seem reasonable when he goes off and does those typical Larry things that are so funny.
I can't thank Larry enough for continuing Curb after six years gap. I feel that show really gets the recognition it deserves these days. Back in 2011. it felt like nobody cared, and it really was a big deal when the show came back.
JB is the only actor/comedian I know who watched his favorite TV show and said "I am going to be on that show".... And actually did it. He literally casted himself before Larry even knew who he was.
Leon should have his own spin-off. Larry doesn't have to do anything. He can just be an exec producer, sit back and collect the cheques. (Yes, I know JB asked Larry this before and Larry said no. Ah, well.)
A very concise and funny explanation of several of the great scenes in Curb. Leon was a great addition that, to me, elevated the show. It also made me a fan of JB and this video adds another level of respect for his craft.
@@bigstunna2049Seasons 6 and 7 are easily the best two. They stand alone in whatever order you want. Then 3, 4, 5, and 8 come next, again in whatever order.
So a friend that is a kramer type that avoids employment and lives in your house and eats your food. Lol yeah that works if your rich like Seinfield and Larry.
He's got to be the best supporting character of all time. I wonder if other people appreciate that role as much as I do in comedy. Him, George Costanza, Kramer, Creed Bratton, Gata, Lucile Bluth, Byron Bluth, I'm sure I'm missing others...
I believe it was a big F U to the people saying Seinfeld ending was bad like this is the ending and I’m sticking to it by recreating it in a way love it
What's fascinating is the fact that Leon first justifies his joke/makes it as a real life situation and then jokes about it and he does this for most of the clips in this video! Amazing stuff! First make it real and then make them laugh!
I can't watch the last season, it breaks my heart knowing there will never be more. This show is my life, i don't know how to deal with my life without Larry and Leon. I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm really not. Knowing there was more curb around the corner is probably a major reason I'm still around
Thank you JB. Unforgettable. We are delighted because you a funny sip of hot black coffee and wiv charm that is second to none. I need jb smoothin my life
I can tell he be making Larry laugh cuz I know it's improv but the stuff he be coming up with like Larry literally be cracking up because I'm sure he doesn't know what Leon's about to say
Larry loves having Leon around because he is down to roll whenever for whatever and has his back 💯. For example the getting back of the peppitone Yankee jersey.😅
I never knew his name.. EVER.. Till now. I always just called him Leon Black. Because that was his name on the show, and only what I knew him in happened to be, the show. Even in GTA 5, I believe he plays a talk show DJ. I call him LEON in that too.
Well done Mr David, well done sir … great last show with great twist at end. And bringing Jerry 2:47 back was genius . Leon asking Jerry about films of him with the woman of senders was hilarious. Jerry playing along with jB was great
Props to you and Raekwon to making Lampin and Lampable great slang. I'm a huge fan of the show it's interesting to hear these choices for Curb because it was always seamless sure you can see moment of the character not breaking but the improv being reacted was genuine that was kept in. Thanks J B for doing this. Like what can you do after Curb it's going to be hard to up the ante. One of the best shows ever!!!
Leon moves in even though the hurricane didn’t affect him. He lived in L A. Perfect.
“Was he in the hurricane?!”
“No! he lives here in LA!”

When I first saw the show I though he was gonna be a one off character really glad he wasn't.

I don’t think Curb would have lasted 12 seasons without Leon. He breathed new life into the show and added a new dynamic that totally changed it.
100percent. That gave the show another direction. His divorce and Cheryl getting with Ted… so he could date …
Give the guy his own show
