I have the clip 4 and somehow i managed to save the silicone on the back with instant glue. Everytime it started peeling off i was putting a little glue with a toothpick.😅
I also own the clip 5. The sound is amazing for a small device. I also own the boombox 1 and .the clip 5 have almost similar bass as my boombox 1 only it have less power ofcourse. But the clip is 20 times smaller an it is so easy to carry it is small enough to put it in your pocket or attach it to your pants. I think i fall in love now with my jbl clip 5 😍This little monster speaker is on steroids it definitely rocks!!🥳🔥💪😄👍🔥🥳
After watching your video about JBL Clip4 which is perfect for the bath, I bought a white JBL Clip 4 and clipped it on the shower. And it's so cool listening to the music under the shower! And now I see that Clip 4 has a better design than the new one.
They used to have a speaker phone and all the previous models 1, 2, 3... I wish they would have had that in both the four and five, because having a speaker phone is very practical...
I have both the clip 4 and 5.. the sound is clearer and better crisp quality on the 5 for sure. It’s a no brainer. The 4 still sounds good and is a good speaker, but you can’t sync another speaker/ party boost the 4 and also there is no option for the JBL app to use the equalizer on the 4.
Biggest upgrade for me is auracast, in the living room i have my stage 320 and if i want ti take the sound with me i just auracast my clip5 and take it with me and still hear the bass from my 320😊

The only thing i got to say is anyone who owned the clip 4 knows that blasting at full volume knocks out the 10 hr mark minimally by a few hours so i dont believe this will last 12 hrs at full volume. The only jbls that really last long for me is my flip 6s lol Im excited to connect the clip 5 with the flip 6, its bout to be liiiit lol
I got an clip 4 week ago, but then I didn't know that clip 5 came out and I regret buying clip 4, but it's still a good speaker and i'm waiting for comparison of these two.
The clip 2 paired in stereo and I’ve been disappointed that JBL dropped that feature till now. My first clip clip 4 literally is falling apart. I purchased my second clip 4 a few months back for $32 from TJMAXX.
Awesome video well explained the clip 4 is goo but the clip 5 kicks ass love it I still have clip 3 in the box I still like those too JBL is fun to collect.

I got two of these as my car stereo units bluetooth was never that great.Clipped one on either side in front of my car handles.Paired them up with the auracast and I was Shocked with the separation in the left and right channels.Love them.

I dont think you need to but from reviews you will want to, just adjust the highs and it will sound much better

It's 'Up to' X hours which means playing full volume will play for less time

I think it's mono unless you connect two speakers together but i'm not too sure.

Does it rattle with the bass? My Clip 4 rattles really bad when playing with songs that aren’t overly bassy and it’s really distracting.

yeah that generation was not it, my jbl go 3 had all its rubber bands fall off. this new generation has solved that tho

Did they upgrade the output to 10 watts or is it still 5? A 5 watt upgrade would be crucial.
