Not sure how much you see the Pels, but good work on this. BI has made himself vulnerable to a trade by refusing to take open 3s. His 1st two seasons as a Pel, which included him winning MIP and becoming AS, he shot +38% on six 3 FG attempts. The attempts went down two straight seasons before a slight tick up this year. If BI can get back to playing well with others - that is playing with more pace moving the ball more and making a cut now and then instead of pounding it to get to "his spots," I believe he can get back to an AS level player. The talent is there and he'll only be 27. It's just going to be with another club. The runway needs to be cleared for Trey Murphy who is the better fit with Zion and is due a rookie extension.

Murray is basically BI with a better handle because they can work in the same court area. Add that the Pelicans can't afford to pay BI his extension because of Trey Murphy's extension.
This trade will not be official until July 6, so I can see Griffin trying to make this a 3 team trade sending Ingram out for a mobil, athletic center plus reserves & draft capital. Wish the team could afford to keep Naji but I see him getting $10-12Mill a season.

Why would you keep BI when you have Trey Murphy who fits alongside Zion better. BI could get a better return for a center and not to mention he doesn’t want to shoot 3’s and he doesn’t play well with Zion.
i don’t think you need cj mccollum if you have dejounte, you could play trey BI and herb together, could you imagine the havoc they would cause if they add an athletic 5 to that lineup
