POV Drive of the outgoing 340i M Sport. It's been a good run for this car, the new M340i is just around the corner and I cannot wait for it to come out! FOLLOW ME on Instagram: / lhautostudio
Did you end up getting one? Im looking into bmws now myself. Looking at the 330i 340i and 330 x drive. The hybrid is an option that i believe may be the most economical choice as it might hold its value. Let me know how you got on
Hey man, great video. Planning to pick this up as my first official car, as my RSX is dying on me. I have many reasons why I’m going with this car, but I’m going to only list some here- within my 30k-40k budget, bmw, b58 reliability, sedan, sporty, and luxiorous. With all of that being said, I’m planning to get the M-Sport version as well. My real struggle is if I should go xDrive or RWD with this car..I heard xDrive is meh on this car, but I don’t know. I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
@Junior Gonzalez let it idle for 5 minutes? Dude that probably does more harm (Oildilution) than just start driving it easy until Oil temps hit 70°C. Let alone my neighbors would probably kill me letting that loud ass exhaust idle for that long at 6:00 in the morning. Its an engine, it can take it ... And bmw isnt building it "tight" its a mass produce engine. Nothing special about it, I worked in the production line from the 5 & 7 series BMW here in southern germany the last 5 years and you dont want to know how they "push" these engine bevor the car leaves the production area ;) Nice engine tho.
Hey there, I am looking to buy one of these but have heard it makes a lot of noise when driving and the doors make a lot of noise when going over un even terrain, is this true?
CuRiiOSiTy wind noise is definitely present when driving on highways. But it depends what you think is “loud” wind noise. It’s definitely quieter and more comfortable than my GTI on the highway. Road noise is dependent on the tires that are on the car. As far as creaking on the doors, I can’t say forsure with age if it becomes more of a problem, but when they’re new they don’t make noise.
@@LuWeiHuang Thanks for the reply! I am not worried so much about wind and road noise, more concerned about the creaking from the door seals and the trim, especially when youre paying 30K+ for a car.
Very different cars, you gotta ask yourself do you need a 2 door or 4 door for versatility? Do you care for a rumbling V8? Do you need a car that can get decent gas mileage? They're both great cars in their own ways, just depends on what you're trying to achieve.
This was not my vehicle. But having worked at BMW for a long time I can tell you the F30 platform is extremely reliable compared to the E90/92 and we don’t ever really see 340i’s in the shop.
Love the cold start exhaust sound. Gonna look at one with same interior but gray exterior this week. Hopefully I’ll drive it home.

You need Mppsk
Dream car. Too bad I’m fresh out of college and broke
Is this car problematic in the long run? And can I make it faster?
What the cost of a service ? And what about the car , is it expensive to have ?
역시 BMW
please do that with a warm engine... don't just start up the car and then full throttle!
I usually do, I admit I did not have the time to do so in this video, but it doesn't happen often. I will definitely try harder to warm up all cars!

warming up is supposed to happen in movement, that's what bmw recommend

Do you still have the car? How is the 2018 340i been? Anything broke that you had to take it to repair? Looking to pick one up here in Nyc~ Thanks!
