My class loves playing along to your terrific videos. Thank you. Could you perhaps add some percussion patterns? I’m not talented enough to figure them out lol.
I’ve been thinking about this all day. Do you mean strumming patterns? If so, I suggest them in the tutorial, which is linked in the description. If you mean rhythm as in drumming, I’m probably not going to go there, but would direct you to the work of Kris Gilbert who makes “Modern Band Play Alongs.” As it is, I’m already stretching myself to the limit making 3 versions of each song and a tutorial-and any other resources on UkeStuff...
ukeplayalongs don’t even give it another thought, you are very kind to respond. Some of us would be nowhere without over achievers like you😎I will find a sucker friend to help me, or learn how myself lol😂 thanks for your great stuff. The grade eight classes love playing along and are borrowing and buying ukes ! You are inspiring.
You are very kind. My own 6-8th grade students (in the past) were the inspiration for me to start making these videos...after trying Dr. Reese's (and a few other's videos). I'm working really hard to try to produce videos for a number of styles. I want people to be able to play the music they love...but to occasionally expose them to other styles, too. Wait until you see the next one. I still have to edit the tutorial I made tonight...so it might not be out until next week.
😇 The chords you provide will keep this happy song alive! We sang this in the 1940's around the campfire. Cheers ,& thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Good song
my father taught me this song when i was 6 years old. He passed away the same year and I'm 23 years old now. Miss him terribly
Glad it brought back some good memories!
