TSW graphics are phenomenal. I've ridden this section countless times on Amtrak and am pleased to see how well they detailed it. The only thing missing is that in real life when you cross Hells Gate Bridge (16:00) you get a great view of Manhattan off the right hand side.

Love the video. The signal that was all yellow but it said its green is called a position light that was used by the Pennsylvania Railroad when they owned the line. The lights will always be yellow but the position they are in dictate what they are. Straight up and down is clear, diagonal is approach, and horizontal is stop. From what I have seen there are 3 different types of signals on the NEC. Position Lights, Color Position Lights, and Type G Triangle signals. Also from what I was reading about TSW 2020 is that if you have 19 you will get it for free just if you dont have the certain routes you will have to buy those seperately. It's like regular Train Simulator 19 ect.
New Rochelle is in Westchester County, New York, and it is just North of NYC on the North East Corridor. It is actually also where Metro-North Railroad (commuter RR for NYC) and Amtrak split off.
New Rochelle is just outside the city. Its on the other side of the Hudson, and is the next stop for the Regional North of Manhattan. The Acela stops in Stamford

Hey Jeff, with the little icons on the screen that show your speed, signals, stations, etc, You can change it show it shows the same information, but down in the bottom corner. It clears up the screen so you can see the game better, but still gives you all the tips for driving.
Hi Jeff, Great video on the Amtrak line. Just a little advice though ok. I have Ridden on those trains before & the only advice I have is to let you know that as an engineer’s of those Trains (Sim Or Not) anytime that you’re entering a station or just passing through one always use the Horn & the Bell as it lets other train engineers & passengers know that you’re either passing through or about to stop in that station. As for entering a Major Train Depot’s Like New York’s Penn Station a short blast on the horn is used & the Bell must remain on until the Train has stopped. Again Great video though.
People lost their minds about the bell last time so that’s why I shut it off. Helping my misophonia friends out 😁 Thanks for the tip on the horn blast!

Great video you didn’t have to keep the ditch lights on flash because when ever you blow the horn they will automatically come on and return to normal after a few seconds but it doesn’t matter
Enjoyed the video Jeff. I'm not 100% sold on TSW yet. Graphics are outstanding but the entire game has more of an arcade feel as opposed to simulation.
Speaking for myself and possibly a few more, I can enjoy a nice chill vid like this from time to time, something dare I say therapeutic after a crazy day or some intense gaming. Add: Forgot to ask on the last one, but are there options for historical engines like a steamer, a Big Boy, etc? A transcontinental trip with a steam engine sounds amazing at the moment! =D

I love how realistic the trains sound, I closed my eyes at one point and I could actually imagine myself on the train

Well that portion. I live on the NEC and there is a grade crossing in Waterford, CT. Pretty sure from DC to Boston. There are a couple.

The Northeast Corridor employs grade separations for safety. Otherwise, you wouldn’t be able to do those speeds. So you won’t see any crossings.
Master controller B is reverse. That's why it works like a brake
You should Purchase the SW100R that comes with the Cab car.

Passenger service like you are doing does not have crossings because of the speed.
Just because they're passenger trains don't mean there are no road crossings, there just aren't any on this section of the NEC.
I caught the 657 in Bristol last year. For those who don't know, Bristol is near Philadelphia.

TSW 2020 is more a bundle of routes with new features then a whole new game.
