So seeing a lot of comments here about how it makes it more vibrant for people to see, the main thing I can see this for is assisting people who are colorblind and allow them to see models in far distance more similar to those who can see them who are not colorblind. Greens and browns are easier to tell the difference with this and as someone who is colorblind, I feel it puts me on a more even playing field to those who are not.
Niall McLaren doesnt change the game at all.... its just changes the colors of player names. Optic dots. Red zones etc. Doesnt mess with the graphics. Im color blind and although it looks cool its just making it easier for callouts imo doesnt effect the gameplay too much

Just had the same problem myself, I fixed it though. What you need to do is remove all the files associated with Reshade from the directory they were installed, then simply re-download and follow the exact same steps as in the video. Not sure why it didn't work the first time though lol - hope someone finds this helpful! PS Make sure you delete everything before reinstalling!!
You can use a program called vibranceGUI to do the digital vibrance effect on Nvidia cards with no performance loss. Also it doesn't affect video capture with Dxtory/OBS so you get the native colours when recording/streaming.

This isn't the case here though because PlayerUnknown specifically and under no uncertain terms has said (many times) that Reshade is ok to use. Your arbitrary definition of a program like reshade being a cheat does not apply to the reality of the situation, because the people with the authority to do so have determined it not to be a cheat, thus your argument hangs in limbo.
it's because you have those keys binded to something nvidia related from what I've heard, you need to go through your nvidia settings and rebind the shift+F2 to something else so that reshade can work.
There isnt no real reason to have the highest settings though since you have a much bigger advantage with the lower settings. Foliage and such is much smaller with lower settings which will make the players stick out.
I can understand that. I also like having a good looking game but I would rather have the same advantage as other players to be able to win. It is after all a kinda competitive game.
LOL yes, I have.. it's over-saturated. It's like that in almost EVERY game I have used Reshade profiles with. I've used all kinds of injectors.. Reshade, ENB, you name it. Most Reshade settings that people use tend to make it look over-saturated as hell. It looks awful. Even some ENBs look over-saturated. It just depends on how they are setup. It's my opinion, but really I don't understand why people think that looks GOOD... I'd prefer realistic colors thank you.
You can change the strength of the color to your liking. i mainly use it for the adaptive sharpen that takes away the blur, i dont get how they could make such a blurry game. before when i played without reshade, i started to get headaches.

Kyle Sisk Im still very satisfied with my monitor its an Acer Predator XB271HU 1440p 144hz. I would highly recommend 144hz it is amazing, even on 1080p if you are on a budget.

im using reshade or sweetfx in all the games that i play now, i like rich and high contrast colors that melt my eyes, a few examples are csgo gta 5 and squad, it makes the game more alive than aliveness
i wouldnt go that far but yes the graphics seem dated but let me tell you why: a 100 players on 1 huge map would be hard to render on any system if they had graphics like uncharted 4. its in early access
I play on very low settings with a few on medium and run about 80-100 fps, and honestly, I don't give a shit about how the game looks, it's a fun and addictive game, I don't get when people started to care so much about graphics?

Just a tip, if you want minimal fps drop and still to look nicer or even no drop at all try just putting on colourfulness and vibrance, luma and clarity seem to make my fps drop by about 7-10 fps each enabled. like if helped.
To be fair, the 3rd person camera in this game is the biggest problem - it all revolves who is using it best to look around corners. Who needs wallhack when you can see someone coming and kill them with one shot anyway by using E and blowing away face with a shotty?

It's a nice piece of software yes. Is it a cheat, no. It's a compilation of different graphical techniques used to make games look different, prettier, more vibrant in colors or just to add a bit of sharpening. It's just enhancing the graphics, nothing more. The techniques suggested for PUBG is AdaptiveSharpening and Technicolor2. The sharpening one costs like 10-12 FPS so consider that before you use it, could turn up sharpness via your monitor instead. Concerning the Technicolor2 technique it's not as FPS costly (1-3 FPS), you could just turn up your digital vibrance instead via your graphics card panel.
In my entire time of being a tester for pubg since september 2016 first time ive seen someone win by running someone over. for better AA use the nvidia or amd driver to override the ingames AA which is only FXAA and TAA. This way you can get MSAA or SAA. Just a tip. Good vid though

Anything that modifies the game is against T&C's and the rules as it gives you the upper hand on people that do not also have the mod. Expect it to not work in the future or receive bans for modifying game files.

So I had this problem for weeks that my game crashed on launch and or I can't activate "Reshade" effects. So I was looking for a solution. And today, I found out how to fix it for myself and I think it will help for hopefully everyone who has this problem. I'll give you few solutions/scenarios: 1.Whenever you install "Reshade" everything works perfectly on any in game display mode (windowed, full-screen windowed, full-screen) you don't need to make any changes. 2.Whenever you install "Reshade" and PUBG crashes on full-screen, just change your in game display mode to windowed or full-screen windowed. 3.When ever you install "Reshade" and PUBG crashes on full-screen AND you don't have powerful enough PC to run it on windowed mode. In this case go to the folder where your TsIGame.exe is located: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64" Look for file called "dxgi.dll" and rename it to "d3d11.dll" then launch the game. 4.If you did 3 solution and whenever you try to open "Reshade" in game (Shift + F2) and you can't enable effects, you can only see red box and that's it. Then again go to the folder where your TsIGame.exe is located: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64" And leave "d3d11.dll" renamed, but also rename file called "dxgi.ini" to "d3d11.ini" and then launch the game. Hopefully everything should work just fine now. If you do experience any other bugs that makes your game crash or "Reshade" effects unable to be active and you know the solution - comment, I will expand the list, so every solution would be in one place. Hey Metta Plays! Great video I have a 1080 gtx gefore gigabyte graphics card and a 6700k intel i7 processor i am running on your exact in game settings and getting sub 60 fps. TBH i feel like my pc is underperforming as a whole. According to two softwares all of my drivers are up to date do you happen to know what the issue might be? PC age just over 1 year.
Eagle Aus if you have geforce experience it drops 20fps, just try to uninstall it. Yesterday I reinstalled it but dropped from 90-100fps to 50-60fps so I uninstalled it again.

But there are also differences in how your monitor setting are.

People who are saying its disadvantage to others. What about players playing on 1500$ pc vs 500$ pc ? and what about monitors settings. You can change saturation and brightness on your monitors settings

Hey, nice video, what setting is the game set to? DO you keep it at Ultra? And did you need to adjust the setting in reshade?
Shadows: Medium
Effects: Very Low
Foliage: Very Low
View Distance: High
Rest are on Ultra
I keep all the effects enabled on their default values.
It's a nice piece of software yes. Is it a cheat, no. It's a compilation of different graphical techniques used to make games look different, prettier, more vibrant in colors or just to add a bit of sharpening. It's just enhancing the graphics, nothing more. The techniques suggested for PUBG is AdaptiveSharpening and Technicolor2. The sharpening one costs like 10-12 FPS so consider that before you use it, could turn up sharpness via your monitor instead. Concerning the Technicolor2 technique it's not as FPS costly (1-3 FPS), you could just turn up your digital vibrance instead via your graphics card panel.
In my entire time of being a tester for pubg since september 2016 first time ive seen someone win by running someone over. I have my issues with reshade but, I understand why some use it to enjoy their game. From a competitive stand point It has no place in my world. Aside from that I liked this vid man awesome
For those of you saying it's a "cheat" it's FREE and easy af to install, if players were serious about their game they'd be doing research on how to get better and surely stumble across the program
for better AA use the nvidia or amd driver to override the ingames AA which is only FXAA and TAA. This way you can get MSAA or SAA. Just a tip. Good vid though
when i installed it for the first time and i open battlegrounds i push shift +f and the bar where it would show the location is blank and i cannot choose anything

just right click the game in your steam apps folder, select properties>compatability>run as administrator>apply. that fixed the crashes for me
By the way, in the future - just post your files from a win64 folder. Users can just copy/paste your settings into their directory
Anything that modifies the game is against T&C's and the rules as it gives you the upper hand on people that do not also have the mod. Expect it to not work in the future or receive bans for modifying game files.
Works on hundreds of games new and old. It is clearly not against the T&C's / Rules, PlayerUnknown, if you even watched the video has recommended and deemed it good to use

So I had this problem for weeks that my game crashed on launch and or I can't activate "Reshade" effects. So I was looking for a solution. And today, I found out how to fix it for myself and I think it will help for hopefully everyone who has this problem.
I'll give you few solutions/scenarios:
1.Whenever you install "Reshade" everything works perfectly on any in game display mode (windowed, full-screen windowed, full-screen) you don't need to make any changes.
2.Whenever you install "Reshade" and PUBG crashes on full-screen, just change your in game display mode to windowed or full-screen windowed.
3.When ever you install "Reshade" and PUBG crashes on full-screen AND you don't have powerful enough PC to run it on windowed mode. In this case go to the folder where your TsIGame.exe is located: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64" Look for file called "dxgi.dll" and rename it to "d3d11.dll" then launch the game.
4.If you did 3 solution and whenever you try to open "Reshade" in game (Shift + F2) and you can't enable effects, you can only see red box and that's it. Then again go to the folder where your TsIGame.exe is located: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\PUBG\TslGame\Binaries\Win64" And leave "d3d11.dll" renamed, but also rename file called "dxgi.ini" to "d3d11.ini" and then launch the game.
Hopefully everything should work just fine now. If you do experience any other bugs that makes your game crash or "Reshade" effects unable to be active and you know the solution - comment, I will expand the list, so every solution would be in one place.

Adaptive sharpen is a bit too strong for my liking, not sure about tecincolor. By all means, experiment, you can easily disable them again :)

As of 9/5/2017 It works with the patches and my game looks WAY better! Didn't lose any noticeable FPS either, I get 90 to 120FPS on average.

If your game is crashing go to your game folder, where your game is located Win64 folder. Rename dxdiag.dll or dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll it should work.

Just use GeForce experience to optimise your game settings. Works perfectly for me! (That's if your comp supports the gpu).
does increased foliage still add new bushes/more grass? or does it just make everything more pretty looking now?

Hey Metta Plays! Great video I have a 1080 gtx gefore gigabyte graphics card and a 6700k intel i7 processor i am running on your exact in game settings and getting sub 60 fps. TBH i feel like my pc is underperforming as a whole. According to two softwares all of my drivers are up to date do you happen to know what the issue might be? PC age just over 1 year.
Eagle Aus if you have geforce experience it drops 20fps, just try to uninstall it. Yesterday I reinstalled it but dropped from 90-100fps to 50-60fps so I uninstalled it again.

1. Try to go to uninstall programs and search ReShade
2. Uninstall your game then install it back
Try and if you will resolve it, will be ok
Put Reshade in performance mode in the settings to save some FPS.
