Fractal cases are so easy to build in and have awesome cable management. They take liquid cooling really well too. An AIO liquid cooler on that would have been awesome!
Loved the build. Fractal cases are so easy to build in. I built a PC in the meshify c for my dad it is was a breeze. Also jayz2cents videos are amazing :)
Hannah, That thermal paste spoon is for spreading the paste in an even layer across the cpu. A lot of people / youtubers just put a blob or a cross of paste then let the cooler "smoosh" it on but that is actually wrong. Spread it like peanut butter with the spoon to all the edges and it works better...Normally about 3-4 degrees better cooling :)
I never want to see the day noisy butters gets old I don't want to see her tired, stressed or aging the day she stops making videos will break my heart 🥺
This isn't meant to be a comedy video........but I found myself chuckling at your excitement, and your small random tidbits (such as the Allanwrench being a like a praying mantis claw, then the cartoon character look thing)......thank you for bringing me some joy in my otherwise depressing world
As for the GPU cables, you're *Partially* correct. Its not to make it so the power supply powers the gpu fully, but to separate the massive loads between the different power rails inside the PSU to help prevent a rail overload/shut down by having the little pigtail extra connectors. It also keeps the wires from getting excessively hot from most of the power being sent down one connector/pigtail (and sometimes they aren't rated for the power draw some gpus can have.)
Great vid I love your PC builds your super silly, funny, a little goofy in a cute way, your knowledge on PC build are amazing and love how you like to tackle tasks your scared or never did, keep it up.
These kind of videos I love. Building something to help someone out and helping them get into pcmr and enjoy gaming. Ya love to see it enjoy James gj butters
I love watching You build systems, for some reason it's so calming and smile inducing. Hope to see more in the future! Stay Awesome Butters!!! I have no real preference on CPU brands as they both work just fine, the whole Intel/AMD battle is exhausting. A few extra FPS is irrelevant to the average User/Gamer, it comes down to budget mostly. My personal builds are AMD and no issues whatsoever. I build what my customers ask for with an eye towards Value to performance as best I can. ASUS love their stuff!!! EVGA everything if I could lol
I just finished my pc build. It all started with a ryzen 2600 my buddy had lying around. I built a new PC this year using an Intel I7-12700K, ASUS TUF Gaming motherboard, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a Samsung 980 M.2 drive all in a Phanteks Enthoo Pro case. My PSU is also a EVGA 850 GT, no problems at all after six months so far. Just waiting for the right time to upgrade my GTX 1070.

Dunno how you came up in my rec's...but I'm glad, your funny and quite entertaining! That said my HTPC is based upon the same ROG Strix B550F Gaming mobo used here, solid board and works incredibly well. As far as the odd time you need to BIOS flash a board for a new AMD CPU, it's becoming incredibly rare these days.
Always been a big Asus fan in all my builds. In my latest build I went with Gigabyte. Also switched to AMD and love it. Paired it with an AMD graphics card as well.
one of the last evga rtx card as evga broke relationship with nvidia. (cooler tip) you can use a piece of papper tape and tape the cpu backplate to the back of the board to put the front screws. Saw it once and made my life a lot easier (remember to take the tape out after finish)
