Why does culture matter? And why do I only hear recruiters talking about culture, but never hiring managers or CEO's?

Culture matters because it shapes the work environment, impacts employee satisfaction, influences productivity, and affects the overall success of the organization. A strong, positive culture can attract top talent, retain employees, and foster collaboration and innovation.
Recruiters often emphasize culture because they understand its importance in attracting the right candidates who will fit well with the company's values and work environment. They are on the front lines of the hiring process and recognize that a good cultural fit can lead to long-term employee retention and satisfaction.
While hiring managers and CEOs may not always vocalize culture as frequently, they still value it. Their focus might be more on strategic goals, performance metrics, and operational efficiency. However, they rely on recruiters to identify candidates who not only have the necessary skills but also align with the company culture. In many cases, hiring managers and CEOs assume that culture fit is already being assessed by recruiters, which is why they might not discuss it as explicitly.
      Hope this helps!
