This figure looks phenomenal. Probably one of the best toys made by schleich. The sculpt and paint is very appealing.
I really had high hopes for this one, because the prototype looked amazing, but the quality really appears to have dropped in the paint department. The sculpt looks great though.
It looks like the Jurassic World Suchomimus, right down to the color scheme! It's quite beautiful, and it's the closest were going to get for something Jurassic related in anyway.
Thats spot on, this one cover both species well I feel.

Even thou it may not be scientifically accurate, I think Baryonyx is Schleich's best figure for 2020 and I'm definitely added him to the wish list.

I have bought this figure and I like it.
I just bought this one yesterday. Looks nice and also got the 2019 spino and the 2007 safari ltd. raptor. I like the spino because it is accurate and has great textures.
When Schliech does a better job at making a toy of the Jurassic World _Suchomimus_ than an actual Jurassic World _Suchomimus_
In all seriousness though I’m not a fan of Mattel’s Sucho.
Me either. If this one was bigger, I would buy it.
Leo the Yutyrannus I just think it’s way too fishlike. Those eyes and find don’t really work well on a semi crocodilian looking animal
Levi Tersteege I know it’s technically Baryonyx, but it just gives off a Suchomimus vibe.
Same story with the Papo old spino. Expect for the colour, its way more movie accurate(and suprisingly, scientficcically accurate) than any mattel spino

I normally prefer Rebor or Papo but to be honest this is a decent sculpt of baryonyx for a schleich figure
yeah, this is the only schleich dinosaur I have in the collection. And its color makes it stand out too.

NICE review Andy. I lie this figure very much. There's the Molophodaurus and Dilophosaurus that are interesting also.What would be your pick If you had to choose one?
Schleich did make a baryonyx in the past part of there replicasaurus line but not the best model in the line it has a dull color scheme, bugged out eyes, and is on all fours for some reason

I did the math, this is about 1/37th scale, it would fit nicely into my collection.... just wish it’s teeth were more... pointy. I’ll probably just wait for a Rebor or Nanmu Baryonx I guess
Not sure why youre averse to the pink eyes, i like it, ill buy this soon, big fan of the hook noses from 100+m year ago

Might pick this guy up, found this guy for $11 on a website. Which should i pick up? Safari carno 2019 or Schleich Baryonyx?
Personally I like both a lit, but I like the Carno a bit better.

I actually havent seen either, but if I had to choose, I'd go with the hammerhead!

You are very positive about EVERYTHING, this undermines your reviews. This is a silly model, it's poorly painted, it's got teeth like a horse..
Repaint it, or atleast make a cast of it so you dont get nervous when you repaint it
