Definitely a credible Ceratosaurus. In the collecting community there are some brands that are shown endless indulgence for mistakes while others are lambasted for missteps or even just controversial choices. Schleich is certainly in the latter group.
Now this figure looks absolutely like a way more badass version of the JURASSIC FIGHT CLUB Ceratosaurus from the coloration, and that Noggin and them Osteo derms

Hahaha, I would love to have a reason as to why I said Allosaurus but I got nothing. Just speaking but not paying attention to what I'm saying I guess.
Not even going to comment on the paint (by now we all know that scheich used a bunch of drunken monkeys to apply the paint to their models) but they should have done a far better job at hiding the seam on the neck and at articulating the jaw... The end of the jaw is not supposed to go INSIDE of the skull when the animal opens its mouth!
That said, this is far from being the worst schleich dino, not even for the 2021 line, but still, that doesn't make it good.
Not even commenting on the teeth...
I have a question for anyone who knows a lot about or an expert of certain Ceratosaurus sub-species (and Ceratosaurus as a whole). Is this the type species *C. Dentisulcatus* or *C. Nasicornis*? I am currently trying to recreate three (plus an additional design that I, while currently typing this, am designing to resemble the Allosaurus Europaeus (better known on the internet as *The Broken Jaw Allosaurus* from Dinosaur Revolution/Dinotasia) different Ceratosaurus designs which are the *Schleich 2021 Ceratosaurus*, the *JURASSIC FIGHT CLUB Ceratosaurus*, and the When Dinosaurs Roamed America C in PoT (Path of Titans) and need to know what type species it is, (also i do have somewhat of a grasp on what the certain genus sub-species. (sorry if I offend or trigger anyone by saying *Crests* instead of *Horns* and vice-versa, I don't want to start a flame war of the terminology of whether Ceratosaurus and other theropods like Proceratosaurus that had horns/crests) I'm very positive it is not *C. Magnicornis* as the brow crests are are too small and the nasal crest is too large, and it looks more similar to C. Nasicornis, but on the other hand I can't tell if the nasal crest supposed to be the same size, or if it is larger, I also would really appreciate anyone who can help me out (also i do need suggestions for what unique skin i should use for the different designs and i am a mobile player so i do have all of the skin mods)! The head made me click the video and then I saw the pose......wasted potential for such a great sculpt only to be ruined by its shit kangaroo pose

That’s not exactly a kangaroo pose...that would be way more vertical. It’s still a bit too tripod though
I just bought my Ceratosaurus and that underside of the neck is not a problem at all in my figure. Like it's not pink when mouth closed. Same color as the rest of the neck. I guess they fixed it later..? 🤔

B-Tech Papo Ceratosaurus
Why do they still put tripod dinosaurs? Head sculpting is really bad. The painting job is well done.
Fantastic models, all they need is a bit dental work in terms of sharper teeth and a tad of airbrush touch and then they are impeccable indeed but the Papo Ceratosaurus is lightyear away from this one.
This Ceratosaurus has so much creator.

This Cerato its pretty neat! Just the head looks a little weird and the jaw articulation could be much better. But overall a good job from Schleich. I hope they continue with this sculptor and style.

I haven’t seen many beyond the Quetzalcoatlus I’m trying to get...like those but don’t have much more experience so can’t say
