@@G-flo I agree with you, a Final Fantasy DLC pack would fit the game so much more then a Neegan from literal "The Walking Dead". MK would fit him more like other DLC characters in the MK series like Leatherface, Jason, Freddy Kruger, etc.

I feel like with each new fighting game the number of characters keeps going down and they force us to buy old characters
I still can't believe Tekken 8's base roster is the same size as Tekken 5's roster (with 32 characters. The only difference is Tekken 5 shows 30 since you know, Panda and Eddy were palette swap characters of Kuma and Christie)
Just like they should be, having two slots for basically the same character is a waste of space.

I find it interesting that a lot of people were amazed by Tekken 8 Roster of 32 playable characters when Tekken 7 had 38 base characters 😂

This video is missing the actual vanilla Tekken 7, it released in arcades with only 20 characters and it doesn't even have playable Jin, Jin was only a non playable boss. Tekken 8 is actually the largest roster on vanilla release of any Tekken, not even counting DLCs and updated versions.
Tekken 8 is the first time a mainline Tekken is released straight to consoles instead of staying in arcades for like a year before getting updates for console release, for this, Tekken 8 is also the most feature rich and biggest Tekken on release.
Tekken 7 released in the arcades back in 2015 with only 20 characters. Unfortunately, Coouge missed this.

Sheesh. The effort. Kudos man. 30 years Tekken has grace us. Damn, I played Tekken 2 when I was like 6-7 years old. I'm old and I still put Tekken high up on my fighting game list.
Man, 30 years of TEKKEN fighting games from the Bandai Namco video game franchise is really something than I remembered, and I think Marshall Law A.K.A. Bruce Lee is my favorite character from the TEKKEN series!
It was Marshall until 3 when it was his son, Forrest, then they went back on it. They should’ve had both since Marshall now looks completely different. We can afford a more buff Brucelee and an older 70s shaggier Brucelee in the same game if the Mishimas exist without complaints 😂

In Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament Marshall Law was replaced by his son Forrest Law. After that Forrest Law disappeard and was replaced by Marshall Law.
Only in Tag Tournament 2 both of them have been available.
Stumbled on to this by accident, and not only is this really well done, but also included games that I either forgot about, or wouldn’t have added if I did this myself.
The next Tekken Tag Tournament is about to be a blast...

Trivia: Paul, Yoshi, King, and Nina are the playable characters that have never been absent in the canon games; meanwhile the only sub-boss is Kuma.
I also realize that Paul & Kuma are the only rivals that stayed present as well

I think in my opinion for one of the seasons of Tekken 8 they should add the characters that were in Tekken Mobile, so Rodeo, Ruby, Isaak, Yue, Miyagi and Shuwawei

Heihachi Mishima(if he's gonna be in Tekken 8), Nina Williams, Paul Phoenix and Yoshimitsu (and King and Kuma if you ignore their respective lores) are the only Tekken characters in every Tekken game

They need to add Bruce, Lei, Eddy, Miguel, Marduk, Armorking, Ogre, Wang, Baek and Fahkumram to Tekken 8
and writing this before NPCs who will just cry under comment section: (cause I dont wanna respond to them one by one)
*Wang and Baek are dead* Their endings are most likely not canon as they never won the tournament and beat Azazel.
*Ogre is dead forever* He is a supernatural being that could be resurrected or somehow avoid death. And since Jun has returned, Ogre could too
*We have King, Hwoarang etc no need for Armorking, Baek etc* So yeah, like we dont have several karate characters playing similar or even 2 identical bears taking different slots
*No one plays Eddy, Lei, Bruce etc* You are only thinking of e3 and online competition. Not the lore of the game. A game isnt about online competition only
*So you want Tag 3?/Go play Tag 2* I only suggested like 8-10 characters. T7 brought 15 characters with DLCs. Dont freak out like I asked for an entire roster full of 70 characters
*No one cares for Fahkumram/any of these characters* well cause you are probably some effemine dweeb who play only carton dolls and bears

Great video and good info. There is one mistake on Tekken 6. Tekken 6.0 arcade did not have Lars and Alisa. The next version of Tekken 6:Bloodline Rebellion introduced them into the series.

Since kunimitsu is in all the originals she should be one of the main roster characters in all the Tekken games including 8.
