He wrote music for musicals, plus a Musical called Bat Out of Hell that's currently playing in England. Holding out for a Hero, Total Eclipse of the Heart for Bonnie Tyler, Left in the Dark for Barbra Striesand, Making Love out of Nothing at all for Air Supply. You really cannot go wrong with any of these songs.

Among the artists who covered the song is also Celine. She recorded it in 1997 for her album "Let’s Talk About Love". However, due to legal issues, it was left out of the album. Celine's version is available on YT, so you can check it out if you love the best Canadian pipes :)
I recommend you a Spanish singer with incredible melismas in Spain they call her the girl with the three lungs. Her name is Diana navarro with the song "El perdón" she is very versatile and sings different styles of music. She is a very complete singer apart from composing some songs. Greetings from Spain
