  • I try out the new Hornby 4 wheel coaches in LBSCR livery, and give Terrier locomotive No 40 "Brighton", it's first run on the layout. Enhanced with digital smoke and steam effects.

Thanks Richard, I didn't have any intention to get these coaches, but when I saw them in the sale, well I couldn't resist! Thanks for the idea of making a video about effects etc, I may try that some time.

I love the old Sussex accent, cracked me up.
Does Farmer Barleymow know that one of he's horses in the nearby paddock has sadly passed away ?
I would love to get hold of a couple of black Terriers and convert them into Class D1's, but sadly there are none out there in N gauge that take a DCC chip.
    Loved the update.
    Regards Chris

Thanks Chris, Yes I spotted the horse when it was too late! Converting a Terrier into a D1 sounds an interesting project!

I think £20 per coach with lighting is a bargain price, especially these days. I pay £12 for ancient second hand! The steam effects are very good!

I thought £21 was a good price too, especially with lighting. Glad you enjoyed the steam effects!
