    Traction control, to say senses wheel spin is misleading, it compares front wheel speed to rear wheel speed, if it detects the front wheel has slowed down compared to the rear wheel it begins to reduce power to the rear- for instance if the bike begins to wheelie it will reduce throttle input to keep the front wheel on the ground. The inertial measurement unit also comes into play, to help the bike determine wheelie from, spin- that is where it gets very intricate when mapping the engine fuel and timing settings.

    Change not for improvement, like sprint races, but for the sake of change; always ends up making everything worse.

      That change came after the fan engagement survey. Unfortunately a lot of fans are idiots.

    This video was geared more to fans who've NEVER seen a motorcycle before. Or a race.

    • @bremCZ
      @bremCZ ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Or people who have only seen a bike from a distance, but likes racing rather than the tech.

    Guess what? These techs are doing nothing but raising costs and making it harder to pass. This is what happens when they race for lap records. The racing itself suffers.

    this is just sad...a lead member of MotoGP tells you in a way that somehow in long run there will be no more riders on the bike... well coz you know electronic is doing all the job... like a commercial pilots.... you just relax and let the autopilot doo the job FFS.... i agree with the technology...but in some cases this is terrible!!!!!

    • @bremCZ
      @bremCZ ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Nonsense. The fact that there is a person on it controling it is precisely why it has more viewers than the e sports side of it. It's not coincidence that the biggest esports crowds were when the actual drivers were in the sims.
      I'd love to see a support race where sim users controlled a real bike though. That'd be great.
