Been a fan of Kara for a while. Was just listening some of her music on my mp3 driving home from work little while ago and then get home and looking at some Ally Venable video and found this. Far out!
Just seen this as I am going to see her play in a couple of weeks and thought I'd better find out what sort of blues I am going to see. Looks like it should be good. The pick up is a DeArmond.
I'm sit on the board of the Inland Empire Blues Society of Spokane I saw you at the Riverfront Blues Festival in Libby Montana i did give you my business card....I'd so love to get you here for our Blues Boogie find us on FB ✌🏼💜😎
good song. i think the blues needs to go existential and move away from the "poor pitiful me". i'm hearing the "sky is falling" in the vernacular of global warming. "the crops are dying, the rivers are drying, and all we get is double talk from those in charge." "the caps are melting, the oceans are polluted, and all we get is more cowboy capitalism... the sky is falling.... for real this time."
She is a really talented and interesting performer. Great slide work.
Kara and Ally prove the future of the blues is in good hands... and voices!
Miss Kara Rocks!! She is a phenomenal guitar player with a great future. Especially if she continues playing The Blues! :-)
