Owner of both cars, November 2017 model New Dzire and March 2018 Tata Tigor XM Petrol. Uses dzire 35000+ kms at present, conclusion is that Dzire is no where close to tata in safety and brakings. Dzire is very filmsy build quality on the otherside you are in totally different world when in Tata Tigor. I prefer any day tigor over the dzire. Even after using the car for 5 months i am not looking for new swift at the recent purchase thatswhy i choose tata tigor if i had good experience with dzire than i am surely go with new swift petrol.
Tata makes car which are best in handling and suspension setup is phenomenal... And built quality and structural strength tata is the king... Tata cars are the safest and most affordable cars. They build car like tank. And at a reasonable price
I am also maruti user .maruti provide only milage and low mentains. Build quality is very very poor. And its is not a safe car . In same budget go to for ford car or tata car.
Both are good cars,, having almost same mileage in diesel. Maruti got its mileage by reducing weight of its car and Tata got by reducing Size of its diesel engine.
Problem is that people don't know actual thing. Dzire mileage may be only half km more than tigor which is also not sure but in all other departments as shown in this video tigor is way ahead but we people in India not want to see directly. When I bought tiago two years ago I was in doubt but today I am happy with my decision. At all price point Tata offering best car in same segment without any doubt .if you have any doubts just go and check out Tiago, tigor, nexon or hexa.

DZire Z+ variants r not value for money it costs about 10 lakhs instead one should opt for Maruti Ciaz or Verna which r more premium n safer with lot of driving dynamics tigor is altogether different race it is made for affordable n tight on budget people n not a luxury sedan but petrol version still packs a punch I found diesel bit underpowered

Putting 10 Airbags inside an auto rickshaw won't make it safe, will they? Maruti's build quality is pathetic. Don't fall for gimmicks like dual airbags and abs make your car safe. The body needs to be strong first and then comes the question of airbags and ABS. Tigor, Ameo, Aspire are stronger and safer than DZire without ABS or Airbags.

Safety features on Dzire are only introduced now, knowing the kind of competition growing in this space and people being more aware about how suzuki cars have been failing safety tests. Also beating a tata in diesel category is a far cry for non-commercial vehicle manufacturers.

I have had my hands on the wheels of a Tata Zest recently, believe me I couldn't believe that it was a Tata car. They have come a long way after the Indica's. The ride was excellent, the car was soaking up bumps so easily, even the worst ones. One will feel Tigor compared to Dzire because the former is quite heavier than the latter. Hope Tata will address that soon... And yeah the logo.. 😉😉

Better go for a Ford aspire. I don't know but this seems like a paid review. While the 1.3 mjd is much older engine and has terrible lag,it simply cannot compare in power and FE figures. If you are going for vfm factor than tigor's ok but really there are much better cars out there for a few more cash.

Us and then hahaha they washed the car and said its ok hahahaha i know that shit and see things are more or less same and then me and my frnd literally start verbal fighting being little loud why they hadn't complied with check list and all the same forwarded to tata itself and guess what nothing happened hahaha typical tata service quality i expect these from tata, and you much know its not how solid how best the car you made if you not able to establish relationships between company and customers then you are the worst and same is the case in tata look at there sales figures thats the pity much prove of tata car, am not talking in air believe me its from experience.
Brother. Had all generation cars of tata, recently last month purchased Tata Tigor, I have a Zest with 136000+ kms the car bush kit changed recently at 134000 kms. Service is above maruti for me in delhi. My New Dzire runs on 3rd brake shoes within 35000+ kms and 2nd suspension shocker on the other side Zest still runs on original suspension and Zest required brake shoes after 50000+. Overall i paid Rs.42000 till yet for my Tata Zest service in 1.34 lakh kms on the otherside till yet i paid 21000+ for 35000 kms in Dzire. So on calculating all these number i decided to go for TATA Tigor.
Tata cars are better in durability, performance, suspension, durability ...etc than tincan Maruthi cars' Tata fan boys and matured citizens will like this machine.
Indians seriously need to stop buying these Maruti TIN DABBAs.. It is very highly priced and with low built quality. I myself seen that the ciaz turned out badly when a muscular Enfield hits it... Mr 5'10" you didn't mention the 10 speaker Harman audio system on tigor and the solid body. I love my family so I will definitely go for tigor.
