I really like how you relate the camera’s abilities to the filmmaker, sort of using the camera as a metaphor for professional process and success. Especially the part about allowing yourself to work as part of a greater ecosystem of creators as a way to level up, just like the FX3 does with its bigger siblings. Don’t work in a vacuum and be humble enough to work closely with people who are at a higher level and learn from them. That is really smart and kind of poetic!

Loved the video and what you’re preaching! I’m a first year film student and was lucky enough to have access to the fx3 in my production class and absolutely fell in love and came to the same conclusions as you (this was my first time using a cinematic camera and found it so insanely intuitive) and love the way you worded it so concisely (definitely felt the versatility and collaboration parts when i was solo run and gunning my projects and then learning the proper way to do things when working with upperclassmen; and i thought your examples/metaphors for them were fantastic)
Also just as a little suggestion, I think a title like “Why the FX3 is STILL the camera king in 2024” might be a bit more grabby and catch more potential viewers :)
also for the thumbnail (once again completely subjective) i feel like it might be more attention grabby if the thumbnail was just a picture of the camera and then maybe text above it that says something like “Is it still worth it?” but once again just my two cents and the thumbnail/title are good as is :)

Hi , nice information, I am doing video on A7Cii with 2470 gmii, want to get fx3 for standalone video purposes, will it really make difference in comparison with A7Cii ?
There may be a few different specs that separate them a bit but the big thing to look at is the differences between their sensors- besides that putting them both in slog and some solid color grading and I bet I couldn’t tell between them
Do you feel the same way with the release of the Nikon z6iii?

@@JustusStew yea man I get you. My main camera at work is an FX3 and I just got the Z6iii for my personal use. I can honestly Nikon stepped it up! I’m picking up my Nikon for a shoot because of all of the codecs it has.

You should probably change that video thumbnail, 70% of the world hates that guy and they will probably pass your video by, based off that, I really don’t know why you’d use that, but I have your video 37 secs though, hope that helps 🤦🏾♂️
