I wish the dressing room murders had lasted longer, and then all you saw of the last plant was it's fronds under the door. Save the chase for another week. It could have been a saga!

It is? Oddly, I chose to subcribe to this channel AFTER the last "Conan" went out on YT. Pleasantly surprised that some new content (?) dropped in my notification box (like old clips as well).
I think they have a large store of Content they've already filmed and plan to release over time. The podcast is obviously recorded like at least a month in advance.

Andy should so could have added a snitch joke. "You're a government plant, aren't you? You tricked me since you're always around pot." I'm too tired to make more jokes, but they absolutely could have ran with it in a million ways.
There's small things Andy does that makes me think he has a different life, like keeping his finger off the trigger at the podium, clearly taking a huge hit off a joint on the show etc

In the shot from Andy's viewpoint as he's looking at the plant while it's driving away in the car, THE PLANT ACTUALLY "TURNS" IN THE FRONT SEAT TO LOOK AT ANDY AS IT DRIVES AWAY FROM HIM !! WHO takes the time to add that ?? SUCH a small detail that I'm guessing about 99% of people watching it never even (consciously, any way) noticed......but something that VERY subtly is HILARIOUS, and adds just that "little bit more" to this piece !! Now that REALLY is 'next level' comedy !! .
I love this kind of Directors Commentary for his past show, its somewhat meta and educational too. I think it will be analyzed by future comedy sketch writers and stand up comics
I remember this one: hilarious then, hilarious now. They should do a MST3k kind of thing where Conan/Andy/actors and writers watch old sketches and mock them.
And I keep coming back to this. The shorter version would've been a great bit, maybe even still one of the more memorable ones, but they went the extra mile and created a masterpiece.
I love it because the shocking part was supposed to be that plants might have memory, but then in the next scene a plant is driving a car and shooting a gun. All logic out the window, absurd, hilarious.
Obligatory: "Not Again!" Also: Conan's hair is catching MAJOR Wave. and distracted by Andy's shirt being half a shade off from his pants, so it looks like he's wearing a onesie and hiding a softball (or two) in his cup.
Having Conan laugh at his own sketches fills me with joy
