    Sage advice! I started with a zorn pallete and then ultramarine blue and also burnt umber. I only recently discovered the benefits of using flake white .. its amazing for mixing compared to titanium white

    I have not tried yet Cobalt blue, but I have tried PB36 named sometimes cerulean, sometimes cobalt turquoise. I love that pigment in particular is my best chance for a primary blue with green shade
