D’Andrea is located east of Vista Boulevard near Baring Boulevard. The neighborhood provides a variety of housing styles at varying prices, attempting to protect the fragile environmental areas while bringing together residential, office, retail, and recreational areas. The neighborhood connects its’ villages through the village center, parks, and trails. D’Andrea is apart of Sparks, 20 minutes from the center of downtown Reno.

D’Andrea Marketplace is a shopping center located within the community providing Safeway, CVS Pharmacy, and restaurants Bully’s Sports Bar & Grill, Wingstop, and My Favorite Muffin. Anytime Fitness is located in the marketplace, making it the most accessible gym to residents. The community has an abundance of recreational areas at its disposal. Pagni Ranch Park is a neighborhood area located in the middle of D’Andrea homes. Golden Eagle Regional Park make one of the most highly attended parks in Sparks, opening in 2008 to the community. The 12 playing fields consist of artificial turf surrounding Red’s Golden Eagle Grill. The park features six softball fields, two full-size baseball field, little league fields, multi-use fields, four volleyball courts, and a rock-climbing wall.
Sparks Marina Park is a unique recreational space with two beach areas, a fishing pier, volleyball courts, two playgrounds, and a dog park. To the east of the marina is Wild Island Family Adventure Park, featuring both an indoor and outdoor activity park. Victorian Square is on the eastern side of the park, home to the annual Best in the West Rib Cook-Off. Victorian Square is across from the Nugget Hotel Casino, the owners of the developing stadium in the square.
Two excellent golf courses call Sparks home. Kiley Ranch Golf Course and Bar is 10 minutes from the community. The 9-hole course is surrounded by the Kiley Ranch master-planned community and provides a driving range, foot golf course, and ample event space available for rental. Red Hawk Golf and Resort is a private golf club in the center of the Sparks community, north of D’Andrea. Members of the club can enjoy the beautiful 18-hole golf course, an elite fitness center, David’s Grill restaurant, and events center. The Villas at Red Hawk Golf and Resort are available to guests looking for lodging accommodations.
Students of D’Andrea begin their education with the Washoe County School District at Moss Elementary School. The school is centrally located within D’Andrea, alleviating the stress of traffic in the mornings. Antelope Ridge Park is south of the school, making it a popular afterschool stop for parents and students. Mendive Middle School is next for students, again convenient to residents. Reed High School serves teenagers of D’Andrea, opening its doors in the winter of 1974.
