During this walk, we found two cotton candy vendors and decided to buy their product and give it away to the children who live along the Guadalupe River nearby. Please note that there were not many, if not any vendors at all around this area, so I decided to go with the vendors who were available. I do understand that cotton candy is not the best thing to giveaway, but in this case, as long as the kids were happy and it could put a smile on their faces, then the purpose of creating some happiness was done many times over =) This area is located in Cebu City going towards the Taboan Public Market. Take note of how the river begin to be more polluted towards the end of the walk. I hope the local officials try to clean this area up. Thanks again to "Me Re" for her donation, the kids loved it. I'm watching this back in England in the comfort of my modest home with all the usual comforts most take for granted. When I watch videos like this (I've also seen the poverty over there when I've been there) it makes me appreciate how difficult life is for so many people in the Philippines and a constant struggle just to survive. I admire their resilience and how hard they work and still manage a smile and are happy. Good luck to you all and I hope to be back over there later this year.

Hah, I like how in the beginning it looks serious like the vendors are going to make a drug deal with how rough and tough some of those people look and are gathered around. Then turn around and deal cotton candy to children lol.
Normally I do have a companion walking with me, and as seen on this video, there were locals walking behind me chatting with the locals. If I am walking, I am only focused on filming and my companions do most of the interaction with the people. It is when I am done is when I get to hang out with them =) Sometimes I hang out before I film so a lot of the locals already know my protocol.
