Could you create a video tutorial on the process of paying rent or annual subscriptions, ensuring that it covers options for breaking payments into monthly or yearly expenses/ depericition?
Hello Sir, In Odoo : Can we do the following. We have an Asset worth 10,000 Units, and it is having declining method. We want to depreciate it at Declining Factor of 10% untill it is depreciated fully. (But We dont want to mention Duration Years, it should be calculated based on Declining Method) Can we do the above process in Odoo Version 17 ?
A common practice is to set asset depreciation durations for extended periods, such as 99 years or more. This approach effectively mirrors the outcome of not specifying a duration, as the asset’s value is depreciated gradually over a long time frame. A 99-year duration is typically sufficient to apply a declining balance method for asset depreciation, ensuring the asset's value is depreciated consistently and appropriately over its useful life.
Very good Explaination :)
I'm glad you found the explanation helpful! If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to ask!
Thanks a lot for this video! And the blog about Odoo Installation is clear ;-)
Glad it helped!

I will soon prepare a video on it.
