Great video, I hadn't heard of quest, I'm going to check that one out. I love running one shots, since there's always something different I want to try. Another fun one for one shots is FATE, especially fate accelerated.
I have the FATE rules on my shelf, I will give them a go!

My go-to for impromptu one shots is Beyond the Wall and Other Adventures; an OSR adjacent game that uses PBTA inspired playbooks to generate random characters at the table.
I will have to give that a look. I had not actually heard about it until just now.
@@booksbricksandboards783 It's well worth a look; I think it's about $10 for the pdf on drivethrurpg (I don't think they sell a hard copy)

Welcome. RPG’s at their best can be a fictional production akin to a tv series or movie, but played out with rules and made for much less than $100 million. 😉
