Thank you for your review, as very few African American and other women of color reviewed the new Hourglass face palette-the deepest one. However, last year's Tiger palette did not have a bronzer in it. That deep brown shade in the Tiger palette is a finishing powder for deep skin tones. This year's Snake palette-palette III has the bronzer.
I chose the exact palette you did from the website. I am med to tan and was glad to see someone with a deeper skin tone showcasing this. Thanks for sharing.

Great video. I ordered the leopard packaging with the 3rd color option as well. I have never owned any of the ambient lighting singles or palettes. I almost purchased the tiger palette from last year but I didn’t like half of the shades. I like all of the shades in this year’s palette with the exception of the orangey shade. However, watching your video showed me a new technique of how to use it. I also saw another video where the palette was used for a natural eyeshadow look. I got this palette for 20% and I plan on getting my money’s worth.

And I think there were one with an elephant 🐘, and elephants remind me of my mom, because she loves these beautiful animals. I didn’t buy it either. I don’t think I’m going to buy any this year either.
It should work. Just use a lighter application. Also can use deeper colours on eyes. HG products are beautiful - play with them and enjoy! Hope this helps xx❤

This looks so pretty but at that price point, it’s a no go for me . A standard eyeshadow pan has around 1.4 g of product, so this is the equivalent of paying $90 for six eyeshadows. And of course, you’ll typically go through a face powder quicker than an eyeshadow.
I have some of the three pan palettes and a few singles, and until watching this video, I didn’t really know what I was doing with most of them. I get blush and bronzer, but I didn’t truly know the function of all the other ones. I’m so glad you explained it here, because now I’m excited to pull them out and try using them the *right* way. 😂❤
I bought the tiger palette last year and returned it. The bronzer color was too light to be a bronzer and too deep to be a finishing powder. For reference im MAC NW 45, PMG MD26. I wanted a palette that I could travel with where I can eliminate bringing certain products. If that bronzer was just a lil darker I would've kept it. It looks like they gave us the samething this year. Why they wont just make a deeper one. Its what pisses me off with this brand.

I finally saw it up close today in sephora. Sadly nothing but the highlighter showed up on my deep dark mac nw55 complexion. Money saved.
