Proud of the knowledgeable have no fear being careful. Your buddies had 4 who drive but ilike what u did. Just ordered high top extended so I will be careful...having a bachelor camper...
Well I just came across this video and would like to ask factory Awd ? I’ve got same van but with a Quigley system and would like to compete with an factory built van lmk
Nice van! Any experience with sprinter vs transit off-road? Can it be lifted more without creating issues? I’m considering new Transit Trail and need to decide roof height.
To the best of my knowledge, no Transit Trail editions have been delivered to the public. That said, it looks like this van has the Q-Lift and BFG 245/75-R16 tires that will both be part of the Trail upfit.
Says you. Suck it up and try to have some fun in life, why buy 4 wheel or all wheel drive if you not willing to explore, im not talking about trying to rock climb but there are trails where you could get through and have some fun on the off road trails.
A fellow camper hasvan AWD crosstrek/trail.. for going on dirt roads..beach...sand it's capable.... The terrain displayed in this video.. capable... The issue is clearance.. suspension flexing and the unibody Rock crawling.. not recommended..
@@richardsalmon6040I have family members that drive transits. Used as taxis, work vans, and daily drivers, all of them 2WD, and all them were stuck or struggled on snow, and stuck in mud in a caravan site. This is exactly why someone would want AWD and snow or mud tyres on their transit.
Damn thats bad ass. I always loved the bigger vans and suvs made to be trail trucks, like 3/4 ton suburbans or excursions and the 3/4 chevy box vans

Good on y'all for enjoying yourselves.
I might need one of those!
got some good footage there. It did good although there didn't look like anything real extreme.
love the wrap...where did you get it? thanks
love the alien and forest stickers! Custom made or are they available to be purchased somewhere? Thanks from Germany!
Rocking and rolling.
Where did you get the rear windows film of the Aliens? I like!
awesome van, subscribed)
Good tires goes anywhere . With good driving .. who needs 4x4.. I know
cool video fellers.
Is it possible to add tire chains for snow/ice or other more severe conditions?
There's not a lot of room for chains when you out on oversized tires. Maybe with stock size tires they would work.
Could you share where you were able to find spare wheel?
Is this one of those "Chinese Spy Balloons"?
replacing the rear reflectors with some kind of light wasnt a very bright idea imo
This is an aftermarket bumper with cutouts for reverse lights. It didn't have reflectors.
the lights in your rear bumper, can you share info about them? Thank you.

Yes, it's the factory AWD system.
Is the winding just the turbos from the Ecoboost or is this one a diesel?
Ecoboost twin turbo
Who built out your van. Tour?

Transit will be easier on your wallet when it comes to repair costs.
Hi can you please share what brand spare tire carrier? Thanks
It's made by Aluminess in San Diego.
Does this van have a locking diff in the rear? Thanks.
No, it just has the factory LSD. A locker would be much better for this kind of driving.
It kinds of look like the ford f 150 raptor but converted to a van
Hi, this one is the new transit trail 2023?
No
Windows??
Did you guys lower the tire pressure, if so how much, im impressed with how well the van handled.👍🍻
Yeah, I took them down to 30psi front and back.
Do you think a RWD can get through?
Probably not through everything this did unless you got a rear diff locker and used more speed.
Is this the Transit trail?

@@millibits The Trail edition is not lifted with QLift and does not come with BFGs.
Ford Transit trail will go into production in a couple of months.

I like one. But not for this purpose.
I have a Ford Transit all-wheel drive and don't recommend anybody to take it off road because they weren't built for that purpose.

So why do you need or want AWD in your transit, not to mention the need or want for "off road" mud and snow tires?
It looks better especially with the roof rack and ladder you kidding compared to stock

How boring. I thought you were going to show me your van. Waste of film.
Well you’re certainly living up to your last name.

So stupid... Do that with a disposable Xterra
Instead
Maybe they wanna camp in style and maybe this kinda $$$ is disposal to them...
Um, they are in no way comparable for interior room.
I think hating on a stranger for doing something that makes them happy isn't very nice.
