Thumbs up! I look this video up every year. I've seen tonnes and tonnes of powder skiing vids and I still think this is the deepest! Bet you'll remember that day for the rest of your lives. Bravo!
Awesome! - this is one of those videos that I have to keep watching over and over, especially the slowmo part in the middle! It was conditions like this that has inspired me to write my book. You can almost feel the coldsmoke crystals dancing with you guys :-) ... great soundtrack, too.
What a beautiful film. I watched the whole film and I enjoyed it just as much a professional movie. I`ve never seen such nice powder. Especially at 4:14 it looked like ghosts very beautiful. Thanks for making the film.
very epic bro, some of the best powder shots I've seen. I've had a few days with powder like that, It's an amazing feeling. Something you never forget.
Huuyaaaaaa super snow. If I'm not mistaken this is the back side to the dam lake... hope that boarder had some big snow shoes for the walk along the lake :-)))) EXCELENT!!! Happy for these guys :-)
@Orash111 It also happened in 2008 (80cm fallen in a day of march, I was there in the alps). BTW, we all hope that next winter will be better (how could it be worse than this winter???)
no words to describe the holy shit u found in Verbier those days...really jelous. Did you feel safe skiing in that powder?this is a serious question. I mean, it seems you went freeriding just the day after a 1.5 metres snowfall. It's a question cuz i generally wait couple of days and check the avalanches risk in Courmayeur Mont Blanc.. winter is just around the corner now, the bad months of the year are almost over..yeah!
if you ski fast you stay on top of the snow ;) but the most important thing is that you have enough power in your legs...so go to the fitness centre before you go on holidays it will help a lot...i promiss ;) and maybe you have to visit a course for 2 or 3 days. i think it would be the best ;)
Epic is the only word to describe that feeling man. I ride every single day of the year (lift op) and its fuckin awesome to get some deep pow like that. big props duuude, nice edit too. hope u guys checked the stabability though....
It is always the best when you are already riding deep powder, and then all of a sudden it gets a bit steeper and you just sink in a ton, way more than you already had. Thats just the kind of riding you guys had in the 5-6 min area. I get those moments at snowbird utah, but honestly the alps seem much better because there isn't aa rat race for the powder.
Third track is:Battle Without Honor or Humanity - TOMOYASU HOTEI You guys looked like you had fun that day. Just emailed this link to a friend in Meribel. They need that snow
lol even with enya im jealous looking at all that sexy powder. we accumulated ~35 inches over at alyeska this last weekend, but by the time i got there you had to hunt for untouched trails.
Awesome conditions, nice video, though I have to say that the way you keep bobbing up and down, sticking in both poles simultaneously looks a little silly.
If you are a skier please refrain from trenching and making huge holes with the yard sales. Stay out of the powder and leave it for non beginer snowboarding riders. The ones that surf well the most.
get a pair of powder skis that should help a lot. an if not just lean back a little more so your tips come out of the snow but not so far back that you dont have control, also remember to keep yourhands up and forward

After 2 years I still keep watching this movie.
Its like a dream.....

Insane! Best snow i`ve ever seen!
Oh my god, that snow looks good.
In my opinion its more fun to board in powder than to skii.
Its undescribable ^^
I honesty couldn't imagine how heaven could be any better.
Nice Powder im 13 but intese skier cant wait to go!!!
the best part was when the music stopped.
Not bad for Europe. Nice video.

This si one of the sickest pow vids I've seen. Shot professional?
sick powder but what's with the double pole planting lol
amazing video !
im a snowboarder, so i have no idea about the subject. What is a double pole plant?
god i freakin love the feeling when you get heightened after a swing
I can't believe that's European snow, looked like soft Utah pow. Kickass huck towards four minutes.
Any tips for skiing in such deep powder?
What was the name of the song you origionally had on this video?
if you ski fast you stay on top of the snow ;)
but the most important thing is that you have enough power in your legs...so go to the fitness centre before you go on holidays it will help a lot...i promiss ;)
and maybe you have to visit a course for 2 or 3 days. i think it would be the best ;)
didn't the original video have a song by the band royksopp
Epic is the only word to describe that feeling man. I ride every single day of the year (lift op) and its fuckin awesome to get some deep pow like that. big props duuude, nice edit too. hope u guys checked the stabability though....
How do you explain the snow board?
It is always the best when you are already riding deep powder, and then all of a sudden it gets a bit steeper and you just sink in a ton, way more than you already had. Thats just the kind of riding you guys had in the 5-6 min area. I get those moments at snowbird utah, but honestly the alps seem much better because there isn't aa rat race for the powder.

true that.
this video is amazing
love it! so awesome
That pow is getting to the point where you can't move.........so lucky u guys
This video deserves more views you should add the tag 'deep' to it as well.
why do you pole plant with both poles??? at 1:24
Thats some insanely deep powder. ive skied more in the himalayas though :)
VERY AMAZING !!!!
lol even with enya im jealous looking at all that sexy powder. we accumulated ~35 inches over at alyeska this last weekend, but by the time i got there you had to hunt for untouched trails.
Amazing!!
Awesome conditions, nice video, though I have to say that the way you keep bobbing up and down, sticking in both poles simultaneously looks a little silly.
im on season number 7 and i still dont think ive had it that good. nice one!!
is it in france ?
What language is that and who sings thi song?
I've been to Verbier nearly 10 times and never had powder that deep! :(
wheres the snorkel?
if this had good music it could be one of the best deep powder videos ive seen
It used to have another tune that was awesome. I don't know what it was called. I'm here looking for it now!?
cool video guys i gotta make it to europe but i heard there resorts are getting hit the hardest with global warming
I'd be happy to even have a dream that good
wow that is freaking epic man
telemarking looks like quite the workout for your legs
the human snowdozer. amazing
2:16 on, makes me very happy in the pants. Ahhh bring on this season already......
love it!
Man this almost never ever happens in the Alps, especially this year. Much of these places this year you just see grass.
@JurisicSantiago you just need steeper pitches for pow this deep.
Telemark looks.so much better than slalom skiing...
@s24atomic Haha! This winter was so bad I avoided Verbier and went to Chamonix almost exclusively!
VERBIER sjukt nice !! :P
If you are a skier please refrain from trenching and making huge holes with the yard sales. Stay out of the powder and leave it for non beginer snowboarding riders. The ones that surf well the most.
brianbirc we have an autism on out hands.
UNREAL!!!!!!
First song is Røksopp: "What Else Is There?"
right on @JLDG4 !!
@PhilosophyComa Yeah, it happened to me to. I stayed as high as possible though and made sure to hit every powder day though.
great snow, and all around great vid, but that double pole plant thing needs to go
This is so fucking beautiful... Make me want to quit my job. It is taking all my time.
lol. 2:16 - 3:04 What skis?? XD
it's impossible to watch this without a giant grin on one's face
get a pair of powder skis that should help a lot.
an if not just lean back a little more so your tips come out of the snow but not so far back that you dont have control, also remember to keep yourhands up and forward
Looks like a bad day at wolfcreek, CO haha
Royksopp-What else is there? Enjoy!!!!!
I liked the original music to this video much better.
I think the powder just has a very wet and heavy consistency, so that's why they can't go fast.
Yer killin' me.
band, royksopp, song, what else is there, they do the gieco song too... on a day like this, title lives up to the song name....
Epic.
giv'er, your not going to get hurt... float that. oh and don't get hurt.
@ejkani thanks!!!!!
He's right, people.
all thumbs up!
Peace
beautifull pow dudes
