Yes, I have a hard time throwing away any scrap. I’ve got a few 5 gallon buckets of little circles, squares and other pretty useless drops, but beautifully cut😎

Yeah it’s hard to throw it away! Key chains and things like this help me utilize as much as I can!

@LaChelle1962 sometimes you just have to put your BIG PEOPLE PANTS on and just hit that print button. Once I did? I have never stopped. Just took it apart to deep clean it and that was a hoot! lol.
Hope you can manage to do something for yourself and forget about the challenges you face for a bit, I know it's hard but you will not regret it. Even if you just do things for fun, pretty soon you will be turning a profit.
I went to a lot of small business in my area with "GIFTS" I made in my 'forge. Left them my card and am slowly building a "BULK" order business.

I once tried to order the paint kits with brush from Amazon, they had a listing for 60 kits, ordered them and got 1. I notified them and returned it for the right order....NOPE, got one kit AGAIN! lol.
Doing your own paint kit is smart. Thank you for sharing

How often do you use the glowforge? Have you had it replaced yet?
Ive only had mine for 5 months and on my second new one and soon going on replacement #3 !!
I cleaned my lenses cleaned all 3 fans every 4 days always cleaned the inside etc execpt for anything electric ofcourse and not having luck. Not sure it can handle too many projects I had to purchase a bigger industrial laser for my small buisness something that can do mkre work and not break down.

I use it often each week and I’ve never had it replaced and I’ve had it for over a year. What kind of problems are you having with it?

First: I am brand new to the Glowforge or any laser cutting. Question: I downloaded the files and immediately put the Halloween kit on to cut. In your video the words are in one piece, but mine cut out all the little letters separately and then the outline of the words. Also the Jack o lantern is all cut out, not engraved or whatever I see on the channel. Cat eyes, etc. Is there a setting I'm leaving out?

Yes, follow the video. Change the first set to score and the second set to cut. Or vice versa, whichever the video shows

You should be cutting out the shapes and scoring the wording. For the cat eyes same thing, score the cat eyes, cut out the actual cat. Have to change that on the glowforge

Thank you for getting back to me. After much deliberation and head scratching I figured out what you meant (I really am a newbie...I've cut out about half a dozen things so far). It worked great! For some reason the BOO didn't cut through the wood, but that's because the Glowforge didn't recognize the product...one of those glitches I heard about. So I'll redo that and be back on track. Thank you again!
I'm looking forward to your packaging video for the items.
