Hey hun, I usually wash my hair first and then straight after, use a leave in, hair milk or moisturiser and then apply the grease. So I do my twists or braids on damp/wash detangled hair.

Hi Diane, yes make sure your hair is moisturised first, grease should be used as a sealant.

Hi, hair was damp as it was freshly washed. You can do twists on wet or dry hair depending on the style/look you are trying to achieve.
