Some tips I learned when fighting as Cera: • With Cera vs Cera, if an opponent is chasing you with a charge bite, run away and start your charged bite a little later. When the enemy Cera stops cancels it’s charged bite or does bite, turn around and use your charged bite; you will not only get a headshot but you can facetank them the rest of the way since you have more health. • With Cera vs Teno 2v2, focus on one of the Tenos. They’ll die twice as fast as you both going for each of them alone, and you’ll have the buff once one dies so taking out the other will be easier. • With Cera vs Teno 1v1, bait their attacks and waste their stamina. Also maneuver around them to attack their head. • With Cera vs Carno, it’s very important that when they charge, move to the right or left so they miss or hit your tail. They’ll lose their stamina and you can go in for the kill. I’m no experienced player at all and my tips might not work all the time, but from the few battles I’ve won, these have helped.
large cera groups are very hard to sustain, and going after a fully grown stego is usually what disbands the pack, if it didnd resort to cannibalism before that. cera is best played in a well organized team of 2, 3 at most
Ye against carno the best way for a cera to stand a chance and have the advantage it has to 1: Play extremly aggressive and dont let the carno rest, dont let it get the charge too 2: try to fight in dense areas like the jungle, cera has extreme agility so use that to your advantage and carno isn’t that great in the jungle compared to cera so cera has the advantage there
No need to be aggressive or go on jungles Passive-aggressive style works, let the carno charge u, u have the agility to maneuver the charge and let it go out of stam, after two three charges it's done and then just dance around it and go in with charge bites only, once he pukes just facetank it which will lead into vomitlock and basically win, no need for a body, but yes u could also do what u said too, that also works.
@@shaxo5364 never said you always have to do it, but in some situations its for the best, Even with your agility you can still get charged if the carno predicts your movement or there are more and in the open is Also where the carno fairs the best so in some situations its far better to go to places you have the advantage in (which is water and the jungle for cera)
@@Excusatores true, I never said that u cannot do what u said, it's possible either way, very situational too, carnos can kill ceras and ceras can kill carnos, so it's a fairly even fight between the two, that has many factors that need to go right for either of em to win a fight.
Although i find a lot from the video helpful, I'd personally like to see more tips as to how to survive realistic scenarios that players might encounter. I like the steps to properly vs the omniraptors is to just straight up kill them like being well outnumbered doesn't matter no matter what dino you play
I just wanted to say that the size of a corpse doesn't matter at all, actually! What does actually matter is the growth that the player was at before dying. So if a Dryo was 100% Cera will receive a 50% damage reduction(they lowered the amount to be 50%)
as a solo Cerato i managed to kill a Deino by myself, i dont think it was fully grown but it was definitely big still. if you manage to get good bites between the Deinos attacks and only allow it to get tail bites theres a chance you can win. (theres also a chance i just had luck, as in it was possibly starving and taking additional damage from that, it did decide to follow me super far from the water too. however, im still proud of the win nonetheless-)

Using alt bite to attack sometimes still hits pouncers when they pounce onto you. tenos are easy with cera you cant alt/charge bite when they have stam just light bite head and bait attacks as much as possible if you get hit with the tail 2 or more in one stun the fight is over and time to heal
it's overpowered, they need to implement something like a shield against puking after 3 or 4 times, so you actually can defend yourself instead of getting locked
