I like that this is positive & agree that everywhere has its challenges, but bigger economy means more opportunity. Realistic, but optimistic! Thanks for this

Nice video and the challenges you mentioned are real, but your title is misleading. This is my 9th year in Canada, and it's been getting better and better, where my family was 9 years ago is far from where we are now. Life-work - balance 95%. Also, I've not seen or heard, at least in my circle/city/province, that "everyone is leaving Canada permanently," It's like you and your family are also still in Canada😄

      Interesting perspective!
Kudos to you for the 95% life-work balance achievement👏. If you don't mind, share some tips so we can also learn from what's been working for you and your family. No pressure, though.
I like that you stated "in my circle" because everyone's narrative is different, and I think that should be respected.

@@Moneycpr The number one and biggest factor is God; I cannot overemphasize this and will forever be grateful to Him.🙌
It’s funny how people take God seriously when seeking/praying to come to Canada, only to jettison Him when they get here. Dey play😏
Secondly, you must seek information! It’s like getting information in Canada is never-ending, till date I am still learning new things, so you must seek information and seek info early! Sometimes information might be reaching you when it’s already late, so open your mouth on time and ASK questions
Thirdly, couples must intentionally work together, Canada is not for the faint-hearted, so joining forces together to make things work for you is non-negotiable.
From my experience, couples make the mistake of allowing their differences/issues (some long-standing from back home, others from the pressure of settling down, plus the “Canada environment” factor) to override their sense of reasoning and negatively influence their decisions. Even when you are having issues with your spouse, seek resolution on time, holding on to your gong doesn’t pay, and get timely help if things are getting out of hand, rather than nursing issues that further escalate.
Then keep a solid network of sensible people, and don’t isolate yourself, thinking you can figure things out on your own. You cannot neglect networking in Canada; it is like your passport to career advancement.
The other things that readily come to mind have been mentioned in your video. Cheers

The "everyone" in your title just seems generalistic
