Story 1 is why I always leash my dog, even though he stays right by my side. You never know what a dog is going to encounter when they run away, or if they'll even come back.
I always get so pissed whenever I see people walking their dogs off leash. We are all very impressed, your dog is super well behaved. But, the fact of the matter is: you can’t control the environment around you or your dog, you can’t train your dog for every possible scenario

He didn't tell his relatives, but he did tell Mr.Nightmare who immediately shared his story with us. "It's just felt like one of those things you keep to yourself." I see...
"It just felt like something you keep to yourself" ... If my dog and I had almost been killed because my parents had to get to the party before the Truly's ran out, you better believe they'd hear about it 😂

When the dog ran into the woods in the 1st story, I immediately had a flashback to a story years ago about a similar dog who ran into the woods and was never seen again.
A piece of advice on story two, if a random driver is offering to give you a ride, NEVER tell them EXACTLY where you are going. Tell them your destination was a house or store near your actual destination. I'm not someone to say never hitchhike, because if you need to you need to. But obviously you still need to be careful.

That happened to me once. An Uber driver was taking me back to work, but he was really creeping me out so I had him drop me off at a nearby restaurant instead.
Unfortunately, I've met WAY too many people who would do the same thing as that guy. It drives me f-ing nuts but I also understand it. I was home alone as a kid when our house got broken into, but my parents didn't believe me at all because no valuables were taken. It took them over a decade and finally asking the other neighbors about the creep to realize I'd been telling the truth. Growing up ANY time anything happened, they'd also chalk it up to my "imagination" and ignore all every sign that something was wrong. After a while I stopped telling people about it because I figured what's the point?
When dogs are involved, I get a pit in my stomach.. Like the story of the boy walking his dog who was grabbed by a stranger. The dog saved the boy, but then chased the guy into the woods never to be seen again! Always bothered me!

I got robbed at gunpoint once. Delivering pizza to a house that didn't order anything. Walked back to my car to see two guys walking up to me, saying they'd ordered it. As I tried to read off the cost one of them grabbed the bag to take it from me. I resisted on reflex until the other pulled out a gun and pressed it to my chest. They asked for my wallet and phone and then told me to "drive safe" as they walked off. I did end up getting my phone back, at least, as I'd installed a location sharing app and they didn't turn it off when selling it to a used phones booth.
Robbing someone at gunpoint then saying drive safe afterwards is diabolical 😭 but I am glad you are safe and sound I probably would’ve pissed my pants then and there if that happened to me
I wouldn't judge her too harshly, there were no good alternatives. Regardless of what she chose, the man knew she was there and isolated in her car. At least when she got in the car with him she was able to spot a house, she otherwise would have been stuck on the highway with this guy with no houses in sight. The man had at the very least a knife.
"That moment when the dog ran into the woods gave me chills. The suspense of not knowing what was lurking out there had me on edge the entire time. A truly terrifying experience!"
I live in a condo and see people walking their dogs with out a leash. The dogs are well behaved, but I always worry that something could happen to get the dogs hurt, lost, or cause them to hurt someone.
Probably because I grew up in a city but how were they so gullible in the last story? Sketchy dude eyes your truck looking back and forth on his phone and the moment you’re about to move along he demands for help? Am I just jaded or is it normal for ppl to be that trustful?
Maybe the guy was just that good of an actor? It's easy to think logically when you're removed from the situation, but put yourself in the moment, a guy comes running up with desperation in his voice screaming about a friend who's in mortal peril, you tend not to think much in that situation. Especially if one of your friends is already bolting ahead of you.
@ See that’s the thing I remember when I was a tween something similar to the story happened. At a full drive thru with my family a woman burst into the doors screaming hysterically for help that her bf was attacked and needed help outside the building. A vast majority of the patrons stared at her and called the cops, a few looked outside the windows to see if they could see the bf and a smaller group stuck their heads out. All the while she was getting angry, or probably panicking/ stressed out, that no one was following her to her bf. I don’t know what happened in the end bc my family left not to long afterwards, but I do recall some ppl following her towards a bloodied man sitting on the floor with police and ambulance coming from the opposite side. While yes this situation was a real incident, ppl still phoned the police instead of blindly following a hysterical person. And this was sudden with no build up, while the last story they saw the sketchy guy staring at them beforehand. Yes we have hindsight, yes we could possibly react the same in the same situation but you can’t tell me you wouldn’t be on guard if a seemingly calm person just demands help suddenly.
One that was kicking the tree set them up. No one gets angry like that. These men were just waiting in some secluded spot for people to set up. Its not random
Story 2. Yes you don’t get into a car with a random stranger but at the same time if I had to sleep in my car, I would be constantly on edge thinking that dude was going to come back. Like if he knows you’re out there alone sitting in your car and he seems off to you, bet your ass I wouldn’t be sitting there waiting. Kind of a lose lose situation but she should have called the cops or let her dad call someone who was able to make it to her. Story 3 is frustrating. Unless I see the person who’s drowning with my own two eyes, I’m not trusting anyone begging like that. Especially in the middle of nowhere and him looking sketchy the way he did.
A few years ago I was traveling in a white out but was glad to have a plow man in front of me. But then he pulled over somewhere, which made me have to stop too. He started to get gas and I said this snow is so bad idk what to do..he said how do u think I feel? LOL
Story 3 is why people are so hesitant to help others. Assholes like the three robbers make it difficult for those who legitimately need help. I’m glad the three of them were ok.
The last srory if you see a man just standing there looking at you than all of studden he yelled for help would that cross your mind something is not right, if he really needed help he wouldn't just stood there
Happy Holidays, Mr. Nightmare, I hope you had a good Christmas! Let's hope for more stories where the criminals get caught and are served justice and the storytellers get good sleep again.
I can't believe it's been over 10 years since most of us started watching Mr Nightmare. When i was in the 8th grade in 2016, i used to watch Gator Martin's Mr Nightmare reactions because i was too scared to watch Mr Nightmare alone lol
Story 3, one of the three fishermen told a “friend” about their trip and that alleged friend hatched a plan with some of his buddies to rob the trio. It’s obviously a crime committed by someone who knew one of the three men, especially since the spot was so remote and you wouldn’t just stumble upon it.
I mean, if I were a robber, I’d probably go to a secluded area and wait to see if anyone showed up, it’s not like the fishing lake was a giant secret, it just wasn’t super popular.

The first guy didn't bother to tell his relatives about what happened to their dog? This isn't some case of nicking a cookie from the cookie jar expecting nobody to notice. The poor animal was injured.
Second story is full of so many holes The guy had a snow plough, just drive behind him. The guy had a snow plough, he would have left a trail for the police to follow. Call the police? Why would you be hesitant when you're obviously stuck and still have signal? That's what we call an emergency
@Derp-rz1nn The guy had service to call his family, but chose not to call any emergency services whilst in an emergency and chose to wait it out in his car
@Derp-rz1nn me personally, I would have called emergency services immediately, the roads are supposed to be ploughed by people that are paid regularly to plough them unless it is a heavy blizzard

Robbing someone at gunpoint then saying drive safe afterwards is diabolical 😭 but I am glad you are safe and sound I probably would’ve pissed my pants then and there if that happened to me
C'mon man....getting in the car with a total stranger?...No sh*t your dad was pissed.
Sadly, people don't think these days. For those *"types"* of people, it's always entertaining to watch their outcomes.
@@thestars386 What, it's hilariously entertaining when hitchhikers or people stranded get murdered? What are you on about?
"That moment when the dog ran into the woods gave me chills. The suspense of not knowing what was lurking out there had me on edge the entire time. A truly terrifying experience!"
I felt so bad when the dog ran into the woods in the first story. I always worry what would happen to them and hope they won’t get hurt
Am I just jaded or is it normal for ppl to be that trustful?
i know i’m not ion trust anyone that aint in my circle alr
People are naive bro
No definitely not a normal case I myself had figured out how that one would end and I was right
Maybe the guy was just that good of an actor? It's easy to think logically when you're removed from the situation, but put yourself in the moment, a guy comes running up with desperation in his voice screaming about a friend who's in mortal peril, you tend not to think much in that situation. Especially if one of your friends is already bolting ahead of you.
@
See that’s the thing I remember when I was a tween something similar to the story happened.
Story 3 that would piss me off so bad especially because you get nothing back after calling the cops unlucky at least they made it out alive
One that was kicking the tree set them up. No one gets angry like that. These men were just waiting in some secluded spot for people to set up. Its not random
@@zero1188 the one that was kicking the tree lost his car soo..
@@zero1188how? If they stole his car? Like don't be lying 🤦🏾♂️
@@dana-iz5bz Insurance scam.
@@GoeTeeks that actually makes sense or i was thinking it could be a friend of a friend of one of them that set them up
2nd story . Why didn't she ask if she could follow behind him ? He was plowing the snow off the road. She didn't need to get in his truck.
I really thought that’s where the story was going at first. But then again, it wouldn’t be a story on this channel if it ended that way 😂
That would take an IQ higher than a potato
Maybe her car was snowed in.
A few years ago I was traveling in a white out but was glad to have a plow man in front of me. But then he pulled over somewhere, which made me have to stop too. He started to get gas and I said this snow is so bad idk what to do..he said how do u think I feel? LOL
Ummm... then it wouldn't be a scary story!😅
Story 3 is why people are so hesitant to help others. Assholes like the three robbers make it difficult for those who legitimately need help. I’m glad the three of them were ok.
The last srory if you see a man just standing there looking at you than all of studden he yelled for help would that cross your mind something is not right, if he really needed help he wouldn't just stood there
"spending new years alone would be depressing as hell" as I'm watching alone inside an army barracks 😭
I purposely watch these videos at night since I was eight, and then proceed to cower under the covers out of fear. I love these videos
Oh god me too!
True, almost 2025. Time goes fast
It’s not that emotional bro.
Wdym “most of us” lol
ive been watching him since 8th grade too ! im 19 now and let me say im so glad ive never given him up, he brings a sort of spooky comfort to my home
a Christmas treat from Mr. Nightmare!

The music at the beginning. Awesome 🎉
This is my favorite scary channel. I'm never disappointed when I watch

The only thing worse than being a Lions fan is being a Browns fan. At least the Lions have finally turned it around.
@ I feel that bro, I’m sorry the amount of pain it takes to be a browns fan is commendable, heh Stockholm syndrome it’s tough.
I feel bad because the Browns were good last year but just got blown out by the Bengals and are 3-12.
@HenrySchilling-i7v heh Deshaun Watson☕️
Always a great day when Mr. Nightmare uploads!
Happy New Year’s Mr. nightmare can’t wait to see what 2025 brings
I love the creepy music at the beginning! Awesome 🎉
@ I really enjoy his stories. I’ve been listening to him since 2015 at least.
Saved this video for my night! I need to finish this work quickly to enjoy this masterpiece.
YESSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THE WHOLE WEEK I NEEDED THIS
Are you into vampires at all? More specifically, when they turn into bats?

having a first aid kit in your car is overly prepared? thats the bare essentials sister, pretty sure it is also required by law
Exactly what I was thinking😂
You are the best, Mr. Nightmare! Been following you since you started, thank you for all your excellent stories and great production.
God damn dude in 1st story is a bad owner. People like that dont deserve to have dogs.
I will never understand why some people think not leashing their dogs is a good idea. 😭
@ exactly like if you have even the slightest amount of care or worry you would leash your dog. Even if your dog is well behaved you never know what could happen.
If you forgot your leash them you hold the dog by it's collar while it goes potty. Never let your dog out in unknown area.
Dude's whole attitude about that bothered tf out of me. My family are some of the biggest animal lovers around and my sister works as a vet surgeon. We've met people like 1st story dude who couldn't care less about the dog but then will complain until the clouds roll away.
@@maxredjasper55 fucking exactly. I will never understand why people get pets and then treat them like objects or toys.

What if I became Mr. Nightmare only for this day? That must mean you love me.
The guy in the first story had the most unlucky day ever, his favorite team lost 0-16, his flight got delayed, and his dog got hurt by some strangers in the woods
Been Waiting all Week,Hope all of yall had a good Christmas , My day is now complete. Yall rest well😇
This video was DEFINITELY the best new years vid in the last year or 2 for sure, every story is a driving adventure, i love it
Story 2 the person should’ve just asked the guy to drive in front of them to wherever they were going because of the plow, car would’ve been able to handle the conditions as long as it stayed right behind.

Nothing better than opening up yt in the evening, seeing that Mr Nightmare uploaded. Looking at the comments to see that all of them are about the stories! Oh wait... that's not the case. Sick of these corny ahh NPC ahh comments every video. It's become too unoriginal and repetitive. The people commenting these same things every video either aren't real people, or are self glazing paid bots by Mr Nightmare.
For Cleveland natives, story 1 ends a 0:35
When you showed the 3 figures in the first story they made me jump and gasp! That was scary sorry to hear what happened to the dog? I'm happy the dog found you!! Thanks for making another scary stories video! Please make more scary stories videos. Thanks Mr Nightmare! You are the best at making scary stories videos!
Really great ambient music in this one, Mr. Nightmare! I feel that most horror channels just resuse the same 4 or 5 tracks but especially the instrumental you used in story 2 really added to the general eeriness.
There’s always a good reason to eat popcorn and relax
Watching his videos is worth it day and night

The first guy didn't bother to tell his relatives about what happened to their dog? This isn't some case of nicking a cookie from the cookie jar expecting nobody to notice. The poor animal was injured.
Second story is full of so many holes
The guy had a snow plough, just drive behind him.
The guy had a snow plough, he would have left a trail for the police to follow.
Call the police? Why would you be hesitant when you're obviously stuck and still have signal? That's what we call an emergency
Call the police while 2 inches away from the man you think is kidnapping you?
@Derp-rz1nn The guy had service to call his family, but chose not to call any emergency services whilst in an emergency and chose to wait it out in his car
@@Miss_Eldritch he literally said if he was getting sleepy he would call the cops, it’s just the guy showed up first
@Derp-rz1nn me personally, I would have called emergency services immediately, the roads are supposed to be ploughed by people that are paid regularly to plough them unless it is a heavy blizzard
