I once randomly found the Toy Vault figures at a comic convention in Germany. They were so dusty you could barely see the figures inside, haha. I asked how much he wanted for one, he said 5 bucks, to which I said "I take them all" :D
Gotta love finds like that! I still grab anything I see at conventions or book stores, even if I already have a copy. Ya never know when a crafting idea will pop up and you need to sacrifice one. LOL
Back in the very early days of EQ, the hubbyogre and I would do long hours of questing to get each other in-game gifts, such as the boots of flowing slime that he got for my shaman. While we have tons of various EQ/EQII-themed collectibles from our years as fansite owners, players and then developers of the games, the in-game gifts were really special to us, because of the time and effort that went into obtaining them for each other.
Super happy to see EQ show pop up in my feed! hope you are doing well and hopefully EQ has a brighter future ahead. you never know what might await given the proper cultivating.
I wish they made EQII action figures. I did pick up the series 2 Dark Elf after I got into EQII. I still love flipping through my original EQII player guide even though most of the info changed. I feel like it's so late but I still am interested in seeing the new EQ2 merch.
I have 3 of the eq1 books but I use to have the eq1 map and thoes little eq1 cards I got from my teachers when i was I'm 4th grade sadly i lost them over time ;-;
Thanks for sharings. I liked the Rogue's Hour a lot. Interesting Ogres and interesting romance. I appreciated the introduction which touched upon the music of the misty thicket and the fabled Blackened Iron Bastard Sword, too.
I happen to have something that I wonder if anyone else has for EQ2. Everquest 2 All In One - 1 time Use Portable Grill Set (With Charcoal). I received it at Fan Faire one year and that fire hazard has been sitting in my closet for years and years. It's an oddball one.
Some EQ Swag is expected to return to an online store (commisioned by Darkpaw Games) soon. It was supposed to launch in September, but was delayed due to supply chain issues. But look for that to still become a reality, at least for EQ2. I have queries out as to whether this is just EQ2 or EQ2 and EQ1.
I'm pretty new to your channel. I used to play EQ back in 99 and I also spent some years on EQ2. But it was EQN that brought me back to the franchise. I have watched a couple of your videos, but you don't really get into EQN - any reason why?
