That’s a whole lotta fairing and a whole lotta sanding! Awesome job!
Thanks brother. Your project turned out great!
@@landnseadiy thanks! Feels like this project is never ending!
You really need to put glass in a gouge as big as what you grinded out in the corner. Fairing will just crack without glass behind it.
Great job. I just love watching your boat transform. Keep up the great content. Much love from Maryland❤❤❤
Thank you! Will do!
i love the lack of talk but i would like to see more. i dont know if i have another 28 minutes of skin coating brother but i love what your doing just maybe break it up a little.
Thanks for the comment! Our boat restoration videos were created to show how a novice (like us!) can take a disaster of a boat project to a beautifully completed, working vessel that we now enjoy and are proud of. No sugar coating of the long and repetitive tasks. Almost every aspect of the project was time consuming, very tedious and often difficult, as we were doing most of them for the first time. We hope to help other boat restoration novices see the real process and even learn from our learning curves and mistakes. Editing merely for the purpose of viewing expediency would take away from the reality. Hope that helps. Let us know what you'd like to see more of! We're always open to suggestions.
i understand that but what does a novice learn from no talking and twenty eight minutes of skin coating. it does show the time it takes but none of what is actually going on. if your goal is to teach or instruct a novice they are not learning much.

We have previous episodes of this boat restoration that go further in depth on the fairing process and how it was done on differing parts of the boat build. In episode 8, for just one example, much is explained during the fairing of the bench seat back. If you're interested in learning more about how we faired other portions of the boat, we invite you to view previous episodes where we covered that.
