Is your Google Ads Course good for local businesses? I see it being promoted for Google Shopping campaigns, so I was curious to see if there is specific info for promoting local businesses with Google Ads.
Love your content! With my small e-commerce business, your knowledge on how to correctly set up google ads to get the most out of a limited budget has been a game changer for me.
Thank you, this was useful. I'm working with my first client who is running a tight budget and this advice was much better than the advice others give when they have big budgets.
I have just watched this video and I would like to share my opinion with you. In short, it was quite enjoyable, although I felt that at times it was a bit too slow. The information helped me.
If you are there Aaron, you are a superstar! Thank you so much for sharing your Google Ads wisdom with us. It is really appreciated. The top three steps I will be enacting in the next couple of days and I have to watch your video on the design of my landing page for the online course i wish to promote. Thanks again, mate! All the best!
I’m on my first day of google ads and I’m half way through the day with 46 clicks and 4.14k impressions I take it that’s really good from what you are saying
Thanks so much Aaron - really helpful advice. What do you consider to be a small budget? I'm spending $90 USD per day so just wanted to have a better understanding of what the range would be for "small budget"
The video had some eye-opening moments, indeed. Personally I believe there was a need for higher audio quality and better content. I could be watching more videos like that from this person.
Hi Aaron, great video! 1 question tho... The keywords I can find in my price bracket are 100-1000 average monthly searches. Am I right in saying that these keywords would not give me enough impressions to satisfy the algorithms? If this is the case should I a) look for better, more profitable keywords. b) launch different ads for lots of cheap keywords c) Launch an add with a range of similar keywords to bump up the impressions? Thanks
HI Aaron, I've like to ask if I want start to market a new service of my company, should I create a new Search Campaign or create a new ad group on my currently search campaign which I running decent for many years? thanks new subscribed here
Can you take the Top of the page bid (low range) and times it by 10 instead of using the (high range)? The keyword that I want to target ranges from $7 to $43
Hi Aaron, long time lurker, first time poster here.. Like you, I am also in the short-term rental business. It is super cool to know you came from this field! I am now making my own direct-booking site and trying to learn from you as I try to rank at the top in my potential client's searches.. It would be nice to see you make some videos / case studies that are more industry-specific - like "How to run a successful Google Ad campagin for small hotel private booking sites" ! Also, I am low-key looking for some help with online marketing, if anyone else is interestedk drop me a PM!
Could I get your opinion on this strategy for small budgets? Would it be smart to only run your ads 3 days a week that way your daily budget can be much higher and you can bid more aggressively?
Hey Aaron! Say we market for home renovation companies. Our monthly budget is $1000 per client. How are we supposed to generate 10 clicks a day when the relevant keywords will cost us anywhere from $10-$30 per click (at 10 clicks a day, $3000-$9000 monthly budget)?
Expensive clicks. Either start with performance max campaign or be sure to create near perfect ad copy and landing page for search campaign, because if you have good CTR, you'll most likely will pay 10-12 dollars per click. Test it out ... or try to find some more budget, at least 500 dollars more.. should be enough if you know what your doing.
limited budget and high competition I gather. Apart from what Denis Popov commented perhaps focus on a couple of longtails. Lower volume yes but generally speaking cheaper and the potential customer might be further along the funnel.
I'm getting high CTR over 15% in every search campaign I'm running but it's mostly bounces. 100% bounce rate for 25% of sessions and i have zero conversions. It's quite strange
Hello aaron, thanks for the tips. One question, would you pin the threshold price in the RSA to make sure it would be always visible in the ad? Wouldn’t this impact the rotating optimisation and performance of the ad, especially if we might also be pinning the brand name?
Not Aaron here. But yes. With lower budgets ya gotta make every click count. Filter out as much *noise* as you can and attract people further along the funnel. Imo it does not impact rotation. It will show you have poor ad strength but that's just guidelines so I wouldnt worry about it. Go gettem!
@cees wals is right, but one more thing: create at least 2-3 variations of the text you'll pin - you can test them and you gonna give google more options as well.
It is expensive, and tiresome. I'm getting clicks, but for terms that become negative keywords for me. Cost 500.00 figure out my ads are triggered for the wrong search terms. That is WITH a specialist helping me. Discouraging, but I think this is the process. Launch, then figure out what you are doing wrong.
@@Jay2.0- with that logic you can "generate" millions by filling lottery tickets. nothing to do with mindset, just a reality check which you sorely need. :)
Great stuff Aaron, I appreciate your method of presenting information. I'm a big fan of the channel. Potentially stupid question, but without over generalizing; what's a good target (in terms of months) to shoot for until you could/should be seeing at least a 1:1 ROI. I know every industry is different and optimization is crucial. But I am wondering if there is a maximum amount of patience someone with your experience has with a campaign before you begin to rethink/question a strategy? Assuming one's been able to do the optimizations from your checklist to a beginner level haha. Cheers, thanks in advance if you reply
Thanks Karol & there are no stupid questions. Your campaign should be performing to at least 1:1 ROI (break even) by 6 weeks. As you said this is very very general and usually would be conversions after 2 weeks and break even at 4 weeks

Bravo

Manual cpc
Is it ok to target bigger areas at the start if the keyword search volume is low? (10-100)?

What should you do if Keyword Search Planner doesnt show the top of page bid within your targeted area?
When using a small budget for a company that has never used Google Ads should we start with Search Campaign or Performance Max?

Sir upload video on affiliate marketing using Google ads
Can you take the Top of the page bid (low range) and times it by 10 instead of using the (high range)?
The keyword that I want to target ranges from $7 to $43
You should probably take the middle range bid because that is the average amount of money people would be spending for that keyword

No point him doing that video as that’s a very small audience reach. Broader topics get more attraction like this video concept for eg
I used chat gpt for mine and I’m starting with a £10 a day budget, only half way through the day and had 46 clicks and 4.14k impressions

Hey Daniel whats your business niche
Could I get your opinion on this strategy for small budgets? Would it be smart to only run your ads 3 days a week that way your daily budget can be much higher and you can bid more aggressively?
I wouldnt at first. Best to gather data first and based on that you could than ad a ad schedule or potential bid adjustments.
Which one: Google Shopping vs Performance Max. Which one delivers better ROAS?
Performance Max
use remarketing Google Shopping vs Performance Max no problem

That's close to $500 a month just for data collection that might or might not lead anywhere. Seems very expensive.

@@davidg5629 yeah, expensive lottery where you can only react and hope for the best, no control whatsoever. Some people get lucky, most don't.

Can a small business with a small ad budget of £500 - £1000/month compete with larger companies who have millions in budget in ad to spend per month?
of course, just start small and work your way up, learning and grow, work hard and dont give up
Definitely. Make sure you allocate budget wisely. I wouldnt go to broad. Be specific and stay on top of bids. You'll be fine!
yap
use analytic tag manager
Realistically no, you are competing for the same keywords.

Geez My store has 14 categories and upwards of 9K products... what should my budget be... LOL
0:21 bruh...
So you need more more than five dollars a day
Thank you for the video! This is super helpful!
