I love Peter Mckinnon and other filmmakers, but man, Levi Allen is just something else. The video editing, every video is like a well produced documentary! Love your stuff. please dont be discouraged, this is what inspires us creators.
Peter mckinnon is not a filmmaker. Vlogging and "epic cinematic broll" is not cinema. THIS video is filmmaking, documentary filmmaking in particular.

seeing a lot of comment recently about mckinnon. He's a great guy, a solid photographer, his videos have a diffrent vibe to this and i'm sure he'd consider himself weaker on docu style work, but you don't get that good just by knowing how to shoot in 120p and ride a one-wheel. Respect to the skills.
@@carrotsandrunning I do love his documentary work too. I love his stuff aswell, but yes, Levi's work is top tier.

This is by far the best a7s iii launch video I’ve seen! Loved the story behind the story and can’t wait for the full video to launch!! Way to jump out and follow your own motto.
I have been using my Sony a7s iii for a week now, and I can say this video is pry THE BEST video out that displays what this thing is able to do. Amazing job!
A while back I stopped watching your videos.. I lost my creativity and got bogged down in my work (office job.. inner city etc). Watching this video reminded me how much fun I had filming on my GH5 (which I bought specifically because of watching your recommendation videos on it back in 2017!!). You're still my favourite creator as you have a great genuine personal touch to them.
Nice to see you've a family now as well :) I too recently became a dad (3 months old!).

Thank you for actually showing us a real test of a camera. Too many ppl r just sitting in their studios talking about specs on the box instead of actually using these cameras to its abilities. In the end, all that matters is how this gear works in the real world. Thanks Levi!

This is inspiring, switched from Canon to Sony A7SIII and it's amazing! And I know the feeling of being in a rut. This camera has forced me to test my capabilities and improve knowing I have basically no limitations.

That was an awesome video 👏 Enjoyed the journey. Glad you got your mojo back. Totally understand the change to Sony. I am a Canon guy, but in the last three months, I have been enjoying the Sony ZV-1 for mobile video recording. That little beast does things that no Canon camera does (yet).
This is what a review should look like. Long video filled with real life examples, real life experiences and just a tiny bit of specs. Great work in both the films themselves as well as the bts

That Time Lapse though!!!! Dang I was super excited when I got the XT3 Fuji and I still love this camera it's just soooo hard to keep up with new tech. It's like of course I watch Canon and Sony videos and It's like ugggg I want everything!

Thank you Levi, i borrowed from you a bit of you shooting technique.... I already did use a lot of handheld sliding shots technique what you were saying (it actually does not matter is you do it handheld but I just wanted to thank you)....it really give much more energy to shots and I am happier with my videos.
I loved this video Levi! Behind the scenes are always fun to see and I trust your opinion and experience when it comes to this camera. This is how I would be using the camera as well so this was really helpful. Your take on autofocus and how its like having a second person is how I've felt this entire time!

Levi... I got my A7s3 the first day out. You can solve that fog by getting stuff we use to defog scuba masks and putting it on the glass in the aquarium. I cant wait to play more with the camera. I lent it to RRS so they can design the L Plate for it. What I am insanely excited about is the new drone from Freefly Systems. The Astro. They are coming out with a mount for the gimbal to fly the A7r4 to begin with but I spoke with them and they will be able to fly the A7s3 as well. Anyone need an Inspire 2 Pro/X7 Combo with Apple Pro Res Raw licenses? I am ready to sell!
